Yeah that's what I thought but it wasn't moving at all. I will have to give it a go tomorrow now... who's smart idea was it to work 5 days a week haha. Even the negative was stuck to the terminal, the sparks from it actually helped to remove it.

Right had some time at lunch today, the negative is easy to remove but the positive has baffled me... I tried twisting it and pulling it and no luck, in fact twisting was totally impossible.

Apart from the radio and clock everything else will be fine, I just disconnected my battery on my Ph1 and other than that everything worked fine.

Right after spending 30 mins trying to get through to this garage they asked me what my tyre size was... all I know is its on 14" steel rims. Does anyone know the tyre sizes? I phoned them last week and they just asked what car and the year.

My dad has a Cmax and on his, you need to run the engine for 15 mins after reconnecting the battery so that it resets...

I just had a look at this and not entirely show how the clamps come off of the battery? It looks like there's some kind of twist thing on top of the battery terminal connector. Does this just twist and pull off?

As said above. I have a LED one in mine, it fades ok but it does not turn off! It will turn off but it still gives out a very tiny amount of light. Not enough to illuminate anything though.

I blew the 30A fuse last night while fitting a new head unit and now I cant work out what kind of fuse it is. I know its a blade fuse I need but google is coming up with strange voltages like 32v, which sounds pretty high for a car... especially when the battery is only 12v. Anyone know where...

Mine blew because I made a foolish mistake. The power cable has a rubber cap missing on the connector which shorted out on the metal cage and blew the fuse taking out the interior lights, sound system and the dash screen. I only had a 25 fuse spare so I have used that and so far so good, I...

Anyone got any ideas on the brightest legal headlight bulbs in the UK? I bought some xenon effect halogens a while back and they are pretty dim... With winter coming up fast I want something a lot brighter, especially as my route home is mostly country roads.
