55mm on PI Springs. They are ok, but I think in the future I would spend the extra on shocks (or coilovers) as well because the ride is a bit bumpy. No roll now and it does look better, but the ride quality has suffered. :)
45 Profile Tyre as well btw, which I would suggest, as...
Thanks, I would probably say see how you go first. If you are comfortable with the sound then perhaps get a de-cat. Just remember it needs to be replaced for MOT time. ;) Tbh I have a silent de-cat (yes I'm a wuss) but it does give a different note to a normal de-cat (which I had initally)...
I never knew they did a twin one? Hmm, see my pics above for 4". Sound is deep and spluttery. Not a raspy exhaust. They are loud, but if you don't de-cat your car you should be ok. The de-cat has helped to make it pop and spit much more on deceleration, sounds lovely!
I didn't fit it...
Thanks, nice to know my exhaust is stupid?! Looks perfectly resonable to me,
^^Mobile pic
^^Before lowered.
^^Can just make it out.
3" looks like a pea-shooter IMO!
:D good choice! The reason I bought one is because I couldn't justify spending ~£250 on an exhaust when the car *initally* only cost me £700! May as well buy an exhaust for £160. ;) I'm very happy with mine. What size you thinking of, 3" or 4". I have the 4" as I think 3" looks too...
Fair enough, if you have them may as well use them. Just make sure the gap is 0.8mm :)
(Oh, but the NGK were only £9 from ebay! Bargain!)
Anywho, a very good site to get spares from is GSF. Here is the link,

I have one on my MK1 RT. No problems with fitment, and for the price I am very happy. The exhaust is loud but v.bubbly!! :)
I would recommend if you can't afford a s/steel system but still want a cat-back. :)
My bro has that 32" screen, I have the smaller 26" screen. My mate works at Dixons and explained the differences between the screens. Samsung are rated as one of the best apparently. :)
But anywho, you won't regret that choice if you got the Samsung. Great looks, and the picture quality is...
No way, that's pretty bad that. I always take my RT (if it's something I can't get done elsewhere) to the Scotswood branch as its ten times better than the Gateshead one down by the Stadium. I just found the service down there really poor, but the guys over at Newcastle were much better, the...
Happens in my RT, the noise is nothing to worry about, it doesn't sound healthy though! :) Good thing about having drums on the rear with only having a Mk1 is that a slight tap with a hammer around the rear of the drum will loosen the shoes off for me. :D Job done! Only seems to be my left...
I tried Splitfire..... threw them out as it made mine miss-fire. Put Bosch Super 4's in, not overly impressed with the drive, then stuck NGK recommended plugs in.... GREAT! :D
NGK for the win. ;)

Scroll down to near the bottom, there are pics of mine in there. Here's a taster... just subtle things.
I don't know if there is a need for a guide, I think it should be a simple unbolt the original one and the same x3 bolts hold the new one on. All that is needed is to port out the inlet so it matches the larger diameter. :)
Gain wise, I think it'd probably be like fitting the 65mm TB to the...
I know this probably isn't related, but my aftermarket exhaust on the RT banged and hung quite bad around the cat section and that was simply because there were not enough mounts to hold it properly. Stupid French design! Went to a decent local garage and £110 later had it fitted perfectly...
They are good like, I have one of their systems on my RT. I think the fact the systems are mild steel puts people off, which it shouldn't, because the price reflects the fact it won't last a lifetime. :) They'll even make up a manifold to correctly match their system and car.
Ashley Competition Exhaust. 4" tailpipe. Sound = LOUD. :D
