Thanks :) Sure does, is a shame can't think of anything else to do to it but to me is pretty much best it can be exterior wise. The colour is lovely, looks better in the flesh. Am going to give it a propper clean once my clay and polish arrives to sill post some pics up then.

What about the fuse on the battery end? (must be one within 18" or so of the battery) not v.likly but worth a look

What kinda cost is a Re-map then?

What sound card you using? assume you just running one with RCA outs to an amp?

Go for it, i bought my clio when i was 16. Although bought a new clio MK2 after a month of driving. Is good to have and can really learn what does what on your car. Saying that have built a kitcar too and would much rather do that first.

Have bought a 1.4 16v it has got a upgraded filter in replace of the original (think it may be a BMC but no 100% sure) The car came with a K&N induction kit would it be worth fitting this along with the uprate air filter?

Personally would take out the rear speakers and spend the £200 on a set of Rainbow comps, i have always preferred no soudn coming from behind me. Also am biased towards Rainbow - only speakers have and will use.

Depends on budget for the amp and if your willing to go second hand or not

You could use the headunit but you would be suprised how much better the sound quality will be with using an amp

Yep, is for immobilisr too. Think not too sure though you may get a red flashing light at times on it

As said, i thik it was only the RT's and Maxims that came with central locking. do you know what trim level it is? would normally says "S" or "RT", "RN" etc on the sdie bump strips

Lazy startermotor? Give the startermotor a whack with the hammer, when it next happens. (not too hard though) Was the reason for my PH3 for not starting on the odd occasion, suppose it wouldnt explain the cutting out though.

Had the same prob, a little sqaure orange light, turned out to be that starter motor in the ned :S

Leading on from the previous “i.t jobs” thread I thought I would start an apprenticeship one. Basically looking at finding an apprenticeship but don’t have a clue on where to start and to make it worse not really sure on what side of i.t (Networking, software etc) Has anyone got any links...
