Have a problem with my Mk2 Ph1 1.4. Can't get it to start, can't be the starter motor as can hear it turning. Really dont know where to start looking for the problem?

Last time i dont it, i got this left on the car:

1.4's are really not that great on fuel. If i go for a good drive around the back roads am constantly above 3.5K revs and up. managed to do £10 worth of fuel in what must have been somewhere around 30-40 miles.

Got a PH1 172 gearknob and want to fit it to my 2000 PH1. Took the old one off but it has a diffrent style plastic bit that you put the gearknob onto. Whats the best thing to do, take the plastic off and glue it?

SLC230's are good speakers, sold m ylast pair a week or so ago for £90. If you could get 16.5" in then get them as would get a better sound (in my opinion) from them.
