If you mean for a new windscreen, it was autoglass. I used there online system to get a quote which automatically gets a discount which was quite considerable difference but still expensive, I cant find the quote on my emails so i must have deleted it.
The second hand windscreen was from...
Think i was quoted 350 quid for a replacement without windscreen cover. Ill check my emails to see if ive got the quote still.
Another option is to use a second hand one from a car breakers or something. I was told £110 for a second hand one and that was fitted.
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
How you think i feel? Ive had 3 people drive into me through no fault of my own but yet i still incur higher insurance prices.
Silver 1*2 heading out of Derby towards Birmingham direction and a 172 cup on the A50 towards Stoke direction near Uttoxeter turn off roundabout.
Also saw a Black GT on the A38 which looked like it had a clio 197.net sticker in the back window so thought they might be on here
When i was with adrian flux on my 172, they quoted me with highway £300 up from the previous year, rang them up and they only got £100 knocked off and said they couldnt do it any cheaper through Highway insurance.
Went to Brentacre and they got it £300 cheaper than the lowest quote of flux, and...
Id say keep the wheels, looks good with them and will look better than 182 wheels. As someone above put, colour code the bullets and tbh i think a black roof and black mirrors would do quite nicely on that car
3 options i believe.
One is the straight off payment
Second is the monthly payments
And the third one which i have done is a deposit for so much then 3 payments in 3 months which costs £10 more than your full one off payment.
Give them a ring in morning and find out is best bet
How old are you btw as you havent put many details about yourself?
Why get so arsey about peoples comments as well, you did ask for them but it does happen on here, and as i can tell with you only having 12 posts, you dont come on here much , so you dont obviously understand the kind of...
For me id go forced induction route, thats thinking price wise though as you said youre looking at spending 2k on cams etc.
By the time youve bought a decent r26 which looks at 9k+ anyway.
As for my opinion, I bought my 172 for 3.5k and after having everything sorted ive probably spent...
Thought about the low boost turbo conversion? Not much required there regarding transmission upgrades as far as i know and a bit cheaper than the charger
Looking for a better alarm system after been told today that 2 chavs were caught trying to break into my car with screwdrivers near christmas (Only just told me today :() and coincidentally my alarm went off last night so hopefully it should have scared them off for now but i want a bit more...
Mines not exactly in the best state either lol, thanks for the offer, ill have to take you up on that but might struggle finding the time with work and University so ill get back to you on that one.
Yeh it was there but i had to park right up near Burger King, i tried finding somewhere close to you but couldnt at the time.
The Type R was my mates and i was just looking at some damage from someone who had reversed into him earlier and my mate said thats that lads car you pointed out ( I was...
Well it wasnt me and i saw you there, wasnt on when i walked by and had a look, you might have seen me on the way out near the red type r with a few mates as i saw you look over. car sounded lovely btw
You have ktec coilies dont you?
I looked at these before i got the clio, the costs advertised dont include Hondata which is required so thats another £700+. Then youve got to add vat in which the stage one comes to the same price as KTEC's kit
Taken from tts advertising form.
"This conversion requires the Hondata K-pro ECU...
Surely a track test would be better, they all have some rough estimates on figures they are producing but track testing would show the difference between the different power deliveries
Mines been down at the minute but i was doing no long runs to university and just 6 miles to work (31 mpg :dapprove:), but even still my first run back down the other day and i only got 34mpg rather than the usual 38+ ( was using standard petrol though rather than super)
seems a bit high, i was quoted 215 for all 4 wheels in anthracite with all balancing etc
Clio sport discount is 25% though and that was used on the above but still it would be about 280 without it for 4 tyres
Hey you were next choice as im at university near you.
yeh it will more likely be around April time when im looking for it done, didnt want to ask for it done too early, as i dont finish University till then.
