Got a random juddering from the car today on the way home from work. Car was cold but as soon as it heated up it was ok. It only happened in 4th gear though which is slightly worrying me but when warm it was ok. Along with this the car seems to be really sluggish below 1750 revs in every gear...

Both are coming around the same price insurance wise so not a massive problem (hes got the money anyway) This is what ive said to him but just wondered if anyone thought the 1.4 would be a better option

Forgot to state, its the clio TCE and 1.4 16v that was phased out by the TCE

My mate is looking at getting a car and is trying to decide between the two. The 1.4 16v is on a early 56 plate, 15k on clock and 1 owner priced at 6k, which he could get for 5.5k. The tce is an 08 plate 8k on clock and priced at just under 8k and would probably get it for around £7500...

Im thinking its just the cold weather but everytime i start the car since the ice and snow have come around, it resets everytime, il going to check if it does in 10 minutes when i go back out and the cars still warm, hope its just the weather and nothing major with electrics!! Anyone getting...

Yeah these were done at Top Marques in Stoke on Trent, did a really good job and the lip i did myself, its just rim tape as they wernt able to do lips so me and my brother sorted it out as they didnt want to risk it in case it wasnt what i wanted.

Ill try get some better ones in day tomorrow, was just on way home and thought i would take some as i said i would put them on here yesterday. Saying that, they look way better on the camera than on photobucket

Thats really good, i know i get about 270-280 out of £40 but i do a lot of cold starts with uni and 2 90 mile runs on motorway but for sake of another 70-80 miles, this would be more fun

If you were in right hand side lane then possibly was, they were definatly dark alloys but couldnt tell as i was at the bottom of the hill and you was at the lights. It was around 8.35 this morning

Coming off the a500 onto the a37, think one was heading towards Festival Park and the other could have gone either way as i didnt know they had changed the lane setup One reg plate was **05 FOK

i generally get what you mean. My mates type r feels faster than my car but when you look at speedo, you aint going that fast, where as in mine, and mates agree here, you dont feel like your going that quick even though your going same speed as the type r and faster in and out of corners.

Ill probably be able to give you a picture of what anthracite standard alloys look like with a yellow lip next week as my alloys are getting done next monday but will probably be later for the pictures as they are getting done near my university and not home.

Funny you say that, i had a crash in my mums golf 2 years ago now (NON- fault) and i was a named driver on her policy yet when i got my documents through from adrian flux, it said me AND my mum had been in an accident on the same day and she had nothing to do with it

ive noticed this since its been serviced, big service that is! with cambelt etc but once warmer after 3-4 minutes it becomes ok
