Not that much mate, only about 10mm something like that. :) Ha, on the front is 1' of camber stopping it...and on the back nothing. Well, I got the rear arches rolled which has helped a hell of a lot. But under heavy cornering it still catches a bit. ;)
Fitted my wiper blank today! Ended up hacksawing the wiper arm off in the end, which was very satisfying after it not wanting to come off at all when I was asking it very nicely. lol. Here's some pics :D
So yea, hope you like. Gave it a damn good clean while I...
Cheers for all of your inputs, chrispy.clio I just got annoyed with it in the end so did what you and my mate Chaddy (who used to be on here) said and hacksawed it off. Was so satisfying! lol Will put the pictures up in my progress thread later :) Thanks all!
Tried it again just now, not having any of it. Seems like they've put glue or locktight on the thread so it's not budging anywhere :(.
Did you hack off the bottom by the wiper and then unscrew it beneath the plate?
My mate gave me the plate dude, was off of his old car before sold it.
Cheers mate, just had another look at it. Doesn't seem like one, gave it a good wiggle and there was no movement. Also it is super flush with the plastic, would a splice sit exactly level with it? Tried to lever it out with a screwdriver just now and didnt even move :(
Afternoon all. Been trying to remove my rear wiper and the motor so I can fit a smooth blank over the top, but I can't get the arm itself off. I've removed the nut at the top of the wiper arm shaft and tried to give it a good tug but it's not having any of it. Looks to me like the plastic wiper...
Sounds good to me. I'll keep checking the thread and see when and where it will be, looking forward to it :D Make sure you clean your 120ker though :rasp: Mine's coming up to 90...but it is a DERV. Ha.
No worries mate! Ha, I really want an MX5. If you don't mind me asking, what made you go from it to a Clio?
Ha, this is true. How much camber and with what size spacers are you running?! My mate was running 6' of camber on 9's on his Cabby, and I thought it was bad that he ruined his tyres...
Cheers man :D. Yea, have you seen the AX on Schmidt TH Lines? Dark Emerald Green, looks awesome :). Yea it's Lamin-X film mate, http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/ . Easy to apply, just take your fogs out. They send you all the utensils you need to do it, only thing you'll need is a hairdryer to make it a...
Cheers dude :). Gud man for decking yours. Ha, you may get to the same lows. Although I do have a cheeky drop cause of 14's lol. Would be good to get some photos together I reckon, two ways to alter a non-sport in the best colour available? ;) :rasp:
Really?! Jeez, thanks a lot dude! Means a lot, especially if it's your favourite :D . Yea I've got a lot of stuff to do yet. Items that hopefully will be coming up soon are;
x New Colour Coded Spoiler.
x Rear Wiper Blanked.
x New Headlights (Black ones with a twist ;))
x Some colour on the...
Cheers dude, it's getting there :). Umm, from memory I think the front is about 15mm away from the base of the coil. But I've also got 20 less profile of the tires and the stretch which would probably be another 5mm less again, or something like that. 14's FTW! :D
Ha, it is my daily. You...
