Sounds unlucky mate. I made stupid error about 4 weeks ago that's costing me £800 to fix. Can't wait to get car back tomorrow! I put my accident down to lack of experience, sounds the same for you. At the end of the day we all learn from mistakes and hopefully it won't happen again. At least...

Wouldn't say that was over the top. It's high but you get what you pay for (in most cases). Renault Dealers down south want around 7000 for a 182 with under 40,000 miles on the clock. I reckon just under 4500 would be a good deal.

Yeah think I'm gonna go for the less pricey option and hope the result isn't too bad. It's being sold soon anyway.

Both in same sort of condition to be honest. Is there a certain amount of time that tyres last? The dynamique ones are 4 years old. Would I need to replace all four?

This just needs a simple reply. I'm just not sure what's better. My 1.4 is going to be for sale soon and it currently has the 172 alloys on it. I have also kept the dynamique 15" wheels. I'm wondering whether to put the 15" ones back on or sell with 172 alloys and sell the dynamique ones...

I saw a 172 cup in Horley on sunday. Looked sweeet! The only sport i've seen in Smallfield is the one just round the corner from me. Makes me jealous :(

If you've got a dynamique with steelies then surely that would be classed as a mod anyway as it's a change from standard? I wouldn't worry mate. They're genuine renault alloys!

For twisty roads you could always go Charlwood or back of Redhill?

It's 50 down the gatwick straights anyway so course our non sports will keep up. Unless your planning on speeding of course ;)

Just been to Renault Croydon to look at a Blue 182. After I went to starbucks near the M23 slip road and whilst sitting in there a black 182 went past, then another 2 minutes later. Anyone? And has anyone noticed the 182 at the dealer?

Yeah I noticed that too. But all other insurance companys seem to be a lot dearer. Think I'll be sticking with Admiral for a while.
