£50 for the year for the springs...if it was a month id be with 12inch and tell to off got the alloys for free on the policy...just told them it already had alloys and was fitting different ones which were probably cheaper anyway then the OEs
mine wanted £50!! but sweet talked them over the alloys...Norwich Union tho...they also said they only allow 3 mods so just as well cause ive got a zorst/Viper/springs
Mine is due Jan so I guess its the annual hunt the quote time soon..:p
Thought the standard clutch was rated at 200bhp...could be wrong tho... so major bhp upgrades could be costly in other areas. IE brakes!!
Bastid to change too...engine and box out!!!
Thats where I got mine from....keep checking back there now and again looking to see how much an Evo or Scooby is. ;)
They have a shed load of 172s all with the latest spec in at the moment...guess the last too!
Thing is Steve...if you get it now and the weather is sh*te it will be in the garage until Feb/March anyway and then you will wish youd waited for the Black one.
You know what I think about black anyway!! Saw the blue one in Wests last week when I went in and booked my first service. Looks...
Just a thought.....I remember someone else posting about an underpowered one and when they fitted an IK he found the air feed to the filter had become crushed/twisted in a way that made the bore a lot smaller hence lack of air hence low power.
I also had a similar problem with my viper....the...
Noticed mine was leaking oil at 650 miles....so must have been doing it from the start too.
Took them 5 weeks to get me a new one....had a astra hire car...cost them a fortune!!!
shouldnt need it on charge...
Saw it on Watchdog...RAC Scam...
Rac would turn up to someone whod broken down and tell em it was the battery....they showed on the program that a flattened battery would recover enough to start the engine after an hour or so if it was a good un.
So you could...
I had to buy the aerial for mine....£££s cause it wouldnt work, even under the square.
Stuck it on the roof....must get round to hardwiring it in!! thought about colour coding it too. One day??
Stokesey had one and his works no problem under the square so I guess youll have to suck it...
OE zorst is 1 piece and the only way to get it off whole is to drop the axle...(mine is in the attic...in 1 piece!!)
so the reason yours is in 2 pieces is they cut it off...no probs tho as Reno do a small pipe to join them up again:D
Gza...
I did warn you before hand but glad you still like it. I loved it but the wife said it had to go. Broke too many plates in the kitchen..LOL!!!
The sound was just awesome although a bit boomy on the motorway, but the growl was great. The quiet system has exactly the same throaty...
K-tec is the one to go for. You can choose how loud you want it!!
I had the LOUD one on for a while but was too loud for an old duffer like me so went back for the quiet one....which is still loud but the missus is pleased now the plates dont fall out the cupboard when I start it in the garage!!!
Just start it and it goes away................if you have a K-tec zorst ;)
Its for the climate control...the little fan sucks the air through a temp sensor which then regulates the cabin temp.
