ops..... hit the wrong button.. I had an alarm fitted to my old 5 turbo that had an anti-hijack feature. 5 seconds after turning the ignition on it locks all the doors, then when you turn the key to the fully off position (so you can take it out) it unlocked the doors. I think this is a must...

I wouldnt call any Scooby a hatch, because there not, they dont have one. :D Escort, GTiR, V6 Clio..... all hatch backs. Fords FR300 (300bhp Focus) is fwd, and test say that it gets it power down almost perfectly, and handling is very good too. (Plus Im not a Ford fan either!!!). :(

GR - Its a Smart car, but tuned by Brabus (for some strange and unknown reason). Personally I think the best place for a smart car is a breakers yard.!! ;)

To bleed it easy. Take off the cap, and with the engine running, turn the steering to full lock one way, hold for a couple of seconds, then turn to full lock the other way and again hold for a few seconds. top up fulid if required and replace cap, job done.

True, they are a mass of pipes, half of which can be thrown out.! Like I done on one of my old 5s. Alot of the wiring is really bad too, and alot of it can be binned.
