I think some of the folk on here that think ABS is a bad thing and think they can react faster than the computer that controls the ABS need to realise that ABS is not a driving aid to allow you to drive faster. Its a safety feature, and a very good one at that.! If you think that you can out...

I always tend to fit the largest guage of power cable I can find, it means you dont need to keep tearing up the carpets each time you decide to fit a new amp or add more speakers. You dont loose any quality by doing this so it makes sense if you ask me.!
No such thing as a slow lane or fast lane, speed limit in all lanes are exactly the same.! The second and third lanes on a carriageway are both called overtaking lanes. But alot of people seem to forget that once you have overtaken a car in lane 1 you must pull back in once it is clear to do...

My money is on your rad fan switch is shot. Thats why it overheated at standstill and was ok while driving. The steam would have been from the boiling water and blowing out of the water bottles cap.
Get a new thermostatic switch and replace. Or could just be the wires come loose, but you...

Your right, NOS isnt flamable, but as a compressed gas in that cylinder, it will explode, but still wouldnt be flamable. It would only aid an already burning fire to burn more.

Chavyboy,
Id love to go back to a bike too, but after 7 years riding I then sold my ZXR750 to get my first car, 4 years ago at 24 years old. I think back and count myself lucky Im here sometimes as some of the things I used to do on my bike were outragous!
I remember when riding in the wet...
Im out nearly every weekend on the pi$$ with mates. I live with my girlfriend (soon to be wife) and have a 2 & half year old daughter. I drive a twin turbo Supra, a R5 turbo Raider and the Mrs has a Citroen AX (think she drew the short straw).!
But what you have just said 172Cup, is spot on...

The Powerflow pipes are custom built for every car, they dont just make them up in a factory and ship them out, they are measured and built on-site to exactly fit your car.
I had one made for my last 5 turbo, a side exit, and I must say I was very impressed with the build quality and fit and...
The BB Tuning car in the pics, is a low compression kit. It uses all standard internals and is basically a bolt on kit. They run it at 11psi and are getting around 220bhp.
The manifold you see is a casting they took off of my manifold before I sold it.
They do also have a low compression...

Brun, this is true. I fitted one in my old 5 turbo and used it 3 or 4 times then lost interest. But its very handy if you stall as you dont have to sod about switching the ignition on and off, just hit the button and your off again! Was quite handy as my uprated clutch was quite heavy and...
I had one made for my old 5 turbo, they are top quality and made especially for your car, not bulk produced. So you wont get any knocking or anything.
You can also choose what silencer you want to fit depending on how loud you want it.!
I went for a side exit with minimal silencing.
My first motor was a 5 GT turbo, so were my next 5 cars! Then got the 16v, then a Mazda 323 turbo, then brought the Supra which I still have, and yep, you guessed it, I got another 5 GTT which I also still have.!
