Majority of new engines are more refined now and run in slightly before they are rolled of the end of the production line. Ive done 4500 in my 197 now and the oil is still very clear. Will get changed at 5000 but still wont really need doing.

Nope but i like the fact its not a massive amount of cost. I will be making sure they dont need to change anything anyway as ill provide the majority of the parts anyway.

I wouldnt bother changing it after 600 miles, i would probably wait until at leats 5k to change it. I would definately use the oil they state but try and buy the best one you can find, majority of the time with oil the more expensive the better it is.
