So I've always been into my cars and bikes and I usually always spot the 'performance cars' while driving around. Same with most of my friends who are also into cars. When I am in my friends Golf GTi it usually gets other petrol heads turning to look at it, same for another friends Fiesta ST and...
Yup exactly, got the new comps purely for a better clarity and general better quality. As for the bass I have already purchased a Vibe BlackAir v12 (active) got the newer model. Not usually one for active subs but have heard the exact model in a similar sized car and was really impressed...
Ah ok, that makes a lot of sense! I actually already have the whole install bought now from xmas presents :D. I do like quite a lot of bass (inb4chav) so threw a bit more into than most. I do agree though, just replacing my HU and playing with the EQ has made me see why the standard component...
Ok I will get some 10AWG wire. Can you please just clear something up though. In the picture below I understand the the 10AWG wire will be used to replace from woofer to crossover and from crossover to amp right? How come you don't have to replace the short bits of cable that come on new...
Nope, this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001SRJXNO/?tag=cliospnet01-21 slightly higher wattage at 2 ohms. 2x145 watts. I was told around that figure and I shouldn't use the existing wiring?
Thanks for the help
I have just fitted the Sony N500BT. Really good unit, loads of features and you can pick them up for just under £150. Bluetooth NFC connectivity is awesome if you're like me and go through about 10 AUX cables a year! Also good for if you want sub / amp fitting with it's x3 RCA ports. Can change...
Sorry for the short timescale bump but I am about to go and pick up some wires so wondering if anyone knew? If not I will see if the staff can help :smile:
Hi all, I will be installing my new ICE this Sunday. Just got a few questions regarding wiring!
My Infinity Reference 5030cs speakers didn't come with any wiring apart from the tweeter & woofer to crossover cables.
I will be picking up all of the extras I need this Saturday and was wondering...
It was bound to happen on here pal, things have a strange way of blowing up. You did say the tyres came with the car so not sure why people are berating you like you went out and bought them yourself! However, now you know that they are pants you can go and get some more based on the numerous...
Maybe it's the sound of the exhaust but I've had several positive comments on mine and I've not even owned it a year yet! Pretty chuffed when it happens as most people just see it as another Clio
If you are going to invest all this money into the car just to get the sporty look and you don't actually mind that it won't have the sporty feel then go ahead, not everyone cares about the performance. Just remember you will struggle to get most of the money back. Avoid sticking a RS badge on...
Must admit as a daily the car has a lot to be desired but I cycle to work now and the car is just a weekend warrior with some occasional midweek trips! It's alot nicer with the Recaros in though, still rattles my teeth when I drive over a grain of sand but hey ho!
Keep yours pal! You will probably just buy into a money pit unless it's been owned by someone on here lol And if you really want the alloys / seats / suspension then just keep your eyes peeled in the for sale section!
Why? I am offering my opinion is all, at least follow up with constructive critism that would benefit both of us. If I am wrong then I would like to also know why
Engines are exactly the same but you get the different alloys, Recaros and suspension setup; I think the Trophy came with Sachs but this is often either replaced by now. If you're lucky it's been refurbed and kept OEM
