    springs.

    I must admit I had APEX on my 1.2 and they were pretty comfortable for the drop they gave. They did roll a little more than the H&R springs I have now but for the price of them you can hardly complain!!

    172 Turbo On its Way!!

    Thats a silly amount of money for a mod. lets face it, you could pay for engine mods to suit 100bhp nitrous jets on a 172 -and youd still have about £3500 in your pocket. Sod that!! And all because we want to fit a dump valve?

    All depenmds on the size enclosure your sub needs. I found that many of them were below 1 cubic foot which is crap for some subs. The one for a 98> Clio is 0.85Cubic feet and sits in the offside boot corner

    They are about 220 bhp They are turbos too I think. My mate is buying one. Bloody ugly if you ask me but I suppose its cheap Jap thrills isnt it? I think the performance 0-60 is around 7 seconds?

    Yeah I was comparing them as standard, saw some really nice ones at Xtreme on the 15th. One tore past me that looked standard (save for a big Ppphhhwwwwwsssss as he changed gear!!), but it was in that 50mph bit so I didnt have a go!!

    Damn it - I could have bought a Williams and saved a hell of a lot of money on insurance and up-front cost too...doh. Right... 172 project is underway: Cams, Chip, Filter, exhaust, Re-map, Nitrous & fluffy dice. Im not having that!! hehehehe

    Yeah, I have seen it on a Green RSi at R-Tec. They concluded theat there was nothing that they could do about it after playing twith the otrsion bar for ages

    My 172 is so.........

    Mine dont feel all that fast to me anymore either - Check out Performance GTI topic in this forum. Interesting that quite a few Clios arent pulling 172 bhp as stated!!

    So have we decided that a Willy is faster than a 172? I didnt think that was right (Was the bloke in the video caning it? - He seemed to accelerate/deccelerate a lot!!)
