Water in the boot switch you can clean up the contacts but I'd just get a new one. Happened to me last year. Very common issue on the mk3

No, it's a fail, I'm not a 200 diffuser fan tbh, but it boiled down to modding a 1k exhaust under warranty (no deal) or sourcing a second hand diffuser. Still, means in get to fit the sexual carbon tips I suppose. :) I should come to one of these local meets so you can sample ;)

Aye come on, tell the full story, yours had some clobbered together power doh exhaust on it, which is where lots of use issues come from. On a standard set up there is one 'slightly' noticeable. A fast chip or the like map will sort it on a standard car with better cold start behaviour...

I its a CS thing. I average a good 29 - 30 mpg and it gets driven. Thats on the both ive owned. Good wee motor for what they are imo.

Cry me a river with all the 197 MPG bashing in here. I swear some guys drive round town on the limiter or something? With the two Ive owned, the lowermost I've seen it is 29mpg. Hardly the end of the world. Cool story.
