looks like the same thing that i done, mine was an insurance job. It wouldnt even start up, just kept stalling. As long as youre alright mate, cars can be fixed etc etc Weve all done things thatve cost us alot of money ;)
Whilst going down some bump b-roads ive noticed that the blue plastic bits are buzzing (you know the plastic strips above the glove box and near the drivers air vent) when i went down the road pushing the bit near the air vent the noise stopped.
Has anyone taken these bits off and if so are...
Theyre just as bad when you need a courtesy car. I phoned them (Ren dealer) to make sure they had a car for me as previously booked and got the. Sorry weve no record of that sir, they never rang me back either, f*cking numpties the lot of them.
there was a famous thing with Amazon, theyd priced palm pcs up for 7 quid instead of 70 or something. The contract isnt made untill you get that e-mail saying theyve debited your card and the goods are sent. Until then they can change the price etc etc etc
no thats not the case, most places will sell you it at the wrong price as a goodwill measure but theyre more than within their right to take the goods off of the shelf and refuse to sell it to you.
look nice, supposed to be one of the best handling cars there is. just not as much of a beast as it should be, keep the cup for its straight line speed.
Theyre a bit like Marmite I think. You either love them or hate them. Itd have to be a pretty special car for me to spend 27k and im afraid the Clio V6 isnt, thats why ive not got one.
Id done my time in my Ren 19 1.4, so after three years id got the insurance down a bit. I knew the Cups were quick so after having a test drive i went and bought one.
Looking back now id wished id looked into buying something a bit older but when i take the Clio out i realise why i got it and...
Nice idea but the 350z is a two seater too.
You cant really compare the V6 and CTR. I personally dont like either but if you want practicallity then the CTR is the way forward.
My mate has a Leon Cupra and that feels quick and real planted through roundabouts but on paper i dont think theres anything in it between my car and his.
Depends if it needs skimming. App they dont always need to be. Get the head-set and take it to a back street garage, one thats been reccomended, to have it fitted.
Two blokes at work used them, one wanted a tdci focus and was dicked about loads waiting for it, his Fiesta came quite quickly though. Another bloke had a top of the range Mondeo off of them and there was a bit of lack of communication but he managed to get his with not too much of a fuss.
I had an old Ren19 that used to soak the drivers carpet. Found out in the end that the washer pipes ran down the inside of the car under the the trim, one of the pipes had come unjoined and pissed water out quite merrily whenever it was used.
not the best car to start off with really, they have a tendancey to be very unforgiving when you get it wrong. Theyre sorted on good roads but they sh*t you up loads when youre doing 50mph down some back roads, they move about more than an agitated snake.
I park my car round my sisters or on my old mans driveway at the weekends now, after getting my car back to a decent condition i want it to stay that way.
