i know what you mean about the learning thing, people seem to make it their mission to get past you! and then they get annoyed when you accelerate away from an island because they think you should let them past :@ glad to see you and your car are ok, did you stop and talk to him?

i use the 1.2 clio as my everyday car, and will have the 2.0 kitcar as weekend fun, and looking at getting a car for competition use aswell now not bad for a 17 year old :D

dont know about the listed times, but their so called "performance calculator" can never be right....

just got back in from a driving lesson with dad, i got 16 and he got 15 seconds and as a seperate little test coming away from a roundabout, it does about 52 im 2nd :D

was in my kitcar with dad the other day (around 7 secs to 60 so far) and got a saxo vtr full of chavs going past us off a roundabout and shouting out the window thinking it was quicker....... it just so happens we dropped a couple and screamed past them (they stopped shouting then) but not...

what gear should it hit 60 in? if it only does 90-sumet at the top of 5th, no chance in 2nd, but i think third would be pushing it hard aswell, id feel more comfortable with a tacho but is 4th needed for 60? :confused:

dont need to bother with them or solder, a krimping set will do it no problems

it does go ok when you get it higher in the rev range (id tell you how high, but ive just got a fuel gauge there atm :@) but it seems to have hardly anything low down? anyone got a rough time? its kinda disheartening when you get passed by a big white van....... :(

after just checking parkers, it says the 0-60 time for a mk1 1.2 clio is 13.1 seconds, seems a bit optimistic or am i just not trying hard enough? anyone tried it out? (or know of a reliable figure)

very true, even supercars have a sports suspension option :confused: the 2 cars arnt as expensive as you might think hopefully cost around 3.5k to finish off the kitcar and i wont loose money on it when it comes to sell it, the clio cost 500 so thats 4k on cars, insurance is around 500 for the...

no offence intended but just because they deal with motorsport doesnt mean they do yours as they would one of their cars, and this laser allignment could just mean your wheels all point the same way;) it may handle better (id guess because of coilovers not the height) but IMHO the only way you...

how much are the loweing springs your looking at? personally id spend a bit more on the next set of tyres or perhaps a couple of hours driving tuiton in your car round a track?
