Is it possible to turn the standard immobilisor off on a 16V? My battery in my key has gone!

Ever since i have fitted my K8 system from K tec, i seem to be getting tail gated by BMW drivers. And as soon as the road clears, and I can increase my speed a bit, they fall away. What going on!? do BMW drivers just like sitting in the boot of my car?

has any changed their standard dials to white face, or blue face? or something different? i want to change mine, but dont know what to do, so please post some pics to help me out!!

Does any1 know where i can get an adaptor (or even if one exists!) so that the standard RT stereo stalks will work with the misses new Sony head unit.??

I have sitting in my garage a 16v gearbox thats covered apprx 50k. I dont know much about them, but the bloke that gave it to me assured me it was fully working. how much is it worth? I need some cams, so this can help me pay for them!!:D

Has any1 changed the oil gauges to something more interesting in there 16v? if so can you post some pics, cos im looking for inspiration and ideas to change mine! Cheers
