What parts are relatively easy to change, including normal service parts, that could affect the performance of a 16V? Nothing too complicated, as me and my haynes manual might spend some time together this weekend, and treat the car to some new bits.

has any body removed the plastic bump strip around the top of the valver bumper? As far as i can see, the bumper seems to be a single peice of moulded plastic, with this as part of it. For those with fully smoothed rear bumpers, what did you do about the bump strip?

what have you all done with the number plate lights? have you left them on, or changed them in some way? can you post up any pics that you have please.

Right im changing the side indicators to smoked jobbies! but how on earth do you get the white bit with the wires out of the back of the indicator lens? i cant see any screws, and ive pulled hard!!!!

I need ot get soem interior works done to the valver, around changing the centre dials, getting the centre vents out, and connecting all the new dials up, etc. Does any body know anywhere good for doing this? Im based in Croydon. so any where around here would be great. Cheers

how the MOFO do you get these out? i have undone the two screws at the top, but they are still stuck fast, how do you get them out?

Right ive just brought some spanking pedal covers for the valver, only they dont fit. The screws supplied are about1/2 the size needed. Has any1 else got any pedal covers, and where did u get them from?

Has any1 replaced their centre guages on their willy/16V? i want something very different. and blue, oh and digital? any ideas??
