iPod's and Macbook's it seems.. (The Australian store is open already).
Judging by pricing on those, it looks like a £70ish discount (if directly converted from $) on a Macbook.. depending on spec. Will have to wait and see final details tho.
Oooh.. Black Friday Sales in the UK.. happening I guess this year again?
It seems they probably are according to the web site.. :D
Worryingly they say "gifts" which normally includes iPod's etc.. let's hope for a £200 off the Macbook's... ;) :p
LLU just means it's been unbundled - Be/O2 is still ADSL (albeit ADSL2)
I personally wouldn't use any other ISP for a home connection if Be/O2 was available on the exchange. It's just "better" than anything else, heh.
I hammer my phone, with WiFi on (connecting all the time to random access points at work, home, etc), location services on, Bluetooth on all the time with headset connected for around 2 hours a day with abotu 30 minutes usage, screen brightness on 75%.
I have Exchange push mail going all day...
Once you buy a retail copy of Windows for example, you would probably be better off getting a new PC with it preloaded ;)

1. Yes
2. Depends on connection (IDE or SATA), but you could spend £30 or £100 depending on capacity.
3. If it comes with no HDD, you'll need all software including an operating system. So you'll need to install everything from scratch - easy for a none-tech guy? Probably not that easy...
No, but probably every other call I now get Call Failed.
I'm not happy really.. it's getting a bit stupid. It's getting wose.
I have no Genius Bar's around here.. :(
You just need a standard NAS drive then.
I reckon you'd be very well off with an Apple Time Capsule too.. bit more expensive, but things just work very very well with OSX.
It just mounts as a wireless hard drive effectively (which most NAS will.. but you'll probably find that the Time Capsule...
lol indeed.
;)
Forget iPods.. Eeeks :)
If you lined up every single MP3 player in the world.. in a long line.. on average... every 4 players you come across, 3 would be an iPod ;)
Woooooooooooooooo. :D
