You have to have insurance to drive to get it fixed/MOTed though. I used dayinsure and they will still cover a car without tax/MOT. Cost me £55 for one day though!

I'd had a windscreen crack and was 3rd party. It cost me £70 and didn't effect my no claims. Windscreen cost about £400 apparently!

Coilpack seems fine and sparky, plugs seem new-ish. Seems possible to me. Either that or a lambada sensor I thought. But to answer your question...no

I don't trust garages because please keep taking the mick. My ph2 172 has a missfire so I took it to a local garage after checking the plugs ect. This is a garage which tried to charge me £760 to change a aircon hose which in the end cost me £20 to change myself! Does £192 sound right for...

Had mine done a ktec last week. As said, they need to change the belts too. I paid 670ish. That's a non cup with air con.

How longs a piece on string? some last 100k+ but they have to have had regular oil changes and with the proper oil ect.
