Just offering a little advice from personal experience. The 16's on a 182 weigh an absolute ton so in my eyes are by no means an upgrade. If you arnt a fan of 15's I'd say the 16's from a 182 trophy or 172 Cup are the next best option as these are very much in keeping with...
If you are changing the wheels I'd look at a set of 15's. If you want to keep the Oem look Then Oz F1 in 15 are a good bet. Other popular choices are Speedline 2118's or Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2
All good choices
Yea when I'm working on the car I pretty much only use chrome sockets as my impact sockets arnt usually deep enough.
I use an impact socket for scaffolding all day every day and after a while the square side of the socket deforms and you need a new socket. I've never seen this happen to a...
Sounds like the release bearing. The dealer is only obliged to fix what's gone wrong i.e. The release bearing but I'd ask him if he would fit a clutch whilst he's in there (clutch at your cost)
But will they exist long enough to achieve said status? Most Renault 5's and Mk1 Clio's have turned into brown stains on driveways. Can't see Renault's current/recent offerings fairing any better.
For me the 172 Cup is the only special RenaultSport. Thinner glass, no air con, no abs, no traction control, more caster, best wheels.
Only thing that comes close is the Trophy which is just a 182 Cup with Sach dampers n questionably upgraded seats.
172 Cup gets my vote for most likely to...
Yea lots of people online wondering why their 1.4 Clio returns poor mpg. On the plus side all that weight Is the result of safety happening, results are a 5 star euro ncap. Which is handy as you'll probably need to crash it to recoup the money lost in mpg?
Yar belts are due by either mileage (70,000) or age (5 years) Belts plus dephaser will cost you anywhere from £500-£700
I'm not trying to discourage you from buying a Clio RenaultSport in anyway shape or form, just suggesting there are far better options out there. It's a buyers market and in...
£3k for a car that needs its belts done in 6 months is ( unless I'm completely missing something ) crazy money.

@bloke any chance you can shed any light on this mate? I know the last pic is shocking but it's mainly to illustrate that the writing runs around the cam.
