    I'd say it sounds like an over tightened auxiliary belt. If so your alternator wont last long.

    Its a nightmare on a driveway but doable. Took me a day to get the gearbox out and a day to put it back in. I used the drop the subframe method. If you haven't done much work on the car before you'll undoubtedly come across a range of stubborn bolts...

    Could be a cable thats used on an auto gearbox model. Thats a complete guess. I'd say if the car gets down the road problem free then your all good.
