I love it. I would either put a dummy air intake on the opposite side or paint that one black, put the original wing mirrors back on and for the engine bay match the red elbow up with a red strut brace, get a carbon battery cover and an alloy header tank. Very nice though!
I just remember ripping it out to fit my induction kit how does it all go back together? Where do the air intakes go, is there two pipes? where do they go?
I had mine on a curb this week! ouch! :) Does make the car look a lot meaner from the front. You should get silvertec indicator bulbs in the front lights now! ;)
I had mine done at prospeed you can either have it with a silencer or without, i had one without and my exhaust sounds lovely now.
Cheers guys i thought it would definitely come on so was wondering if i was going to run into problems if i kept on ignoring the fact that it hadn't. Im glad...
Id recommend prospeed, i think mine is pure quality. Doesn't budge its solid as a rock looks as if its built to last and any problems and you can go back to get it sorted.
When i had my exhaust with de-cat the guy at prospeed said id get the engine warning light on the dash come on after 100 miles or so but ive done a few thousand and it hasn't showed should i be worried or am i just lucky?
Mine doesnt budge at all, its solid! Does extend by a couple of cm's when it gets hot though! Could do with being a bit shorter so when it extends its in the place it is when its cold.
Do it! Its not as noticeable on my car as its black but under street lights and in the sunshine it looks awesome!!
Nightmare to fit though! Have fun! lol
Embarrasing audi TT drivers who think ill show this little clio i have a supercar! They should spend more time learning how to drive instead of cutting peoples hair! :-)
Ive had bits of the dash fall off now ive got the bit of plastic round the interior light hanging off! Also seems to get more rattles on a daily basis think its just gunna fall apart sometime! Its only done 17k! lol
Cheers guys! Came out quite well, although some discolouration behing the spokes that i couldnt get rid of.
How do i clean my wheels from now on then? Im guessing i cant use hot rims and a brush no more as it would strip all my wax?
Also how long before they will need redoing?
I use the meguirs water magnet and it seems the perfect size for the clio. Much easier than using a chamios once i realised you were supposed to use it dry and not wet! lol I spray quick detailer on mine before drying which leaves a stunning finish.
Bought the meguiars 3 step paint treatment today, my car needs claying too though as paint rough as hell! Do i clay before step 1 (the paint cleaner) or after?? Im guessing before??
Also is it ok to use microfibres instead of applicator pads for applying the steps? It says applicator pads or...
Needs a spoiler, smoothed door handles and locks, single wiper conversion, loose the sunroof and aerial if possible and get rid of that nasty sun visor.
Also if your going to have alloys like that which are nice by the way but you need big brakes.
More than i thought then, nice to know.
As for sound clips/ videos ill try sort one out, a few drive by's or something ive had a de-cat pipe without a silencer so its rather loud. Sounds nice though! :)
Cheers for the comments guys! :)
The bonnet is obviously lighter but dont know by how much. Your talking 2 kilos perhaps. I dunno? Its a bugger to fit though! Hard to get lined up firstly, then a nightmare to get the latch positioned correctly. It would either not click in, or close and not open again! I had to drill bigger...
