you have applied the next coat to soon or to late then! too soon and all you do is add to the coat youve put on and its runs and if too late it wont grip to the coat beneth so it runs! im a painter and timing is crusial!!! you can get just as good finish nearly with a can if you know what your...
yeah you can get away with g3! bit old hat but will do the job! slow speed and loads of water will sto some of the swirl marks!
you could finish with a 3m waffle pad and some finesse it for a great finish!
umm!i do run a bodyshop! if you cant flat a light scratch out with 2000 grade paper and polish it you shouldnt be using a polisher in the first place!!!!
thats abit excessive!!!! 1xetch then 2x colour and two lacquer if your really keen!better get yours ballanced if there putting that mutch paint on!!!;)
no you dont!any light scratches that you have may not come out by just polishing though!!you can just flat these with some eithe 1500 or 2000 grit wet and dry with soapy water then polish back up!
sorry to burst any bubbles!!! liquid yellow is a 3 stage pearl so repaint only! many bodyshops will steer clear and painters book holiday if this sort of colour comes in! it cant be blended as a 3 stage pearl!!! it can be done though! ive got a simalar mx5 colour coming in next month which is a...
paintstriper will be fine mate! nitromorse is the best! just scratch the surface of the paint first before you apply it then it can get into the paint! when you have a metal finish you can wipe it with thinners or water and this will nutrlise the acid in the paint stripper!
if you use water make...

the red gasket between the cam cover and the upper inlet?
can you still get this or discontinued and use gasket sealer?
it didnt come in a complete head gasket set?
anyone know?
dont even go there with that espesially if the panel has been painted before!!!!thinners wont touch super glue but could damage paint if not original!it can be done though!
polishing is a great way of doing it but you remove the uv potection from the headlamp that way so they will yellow up in time!
yes some polish and wax will protect it abit!
you shouldnt really be putting a baby through a car wash as social services could get involved!
but as for the swirls in your car chuck the tcut straight in the bin mate!!!

depends how deep the scratches are will depend on what to use!

sounds very similar to the problem i had!
mine turned out to be stem seals and valve guides shot so oil was sitting on 2 pistons which resulted in the injectors being blocked so the fuel was not getting ignighted! mine stank of fuel!
hope its not mate!!!
got my bottom end apart now and theres a little slack in the chain from the oil pump to the small plastic pulley!
should there be a slight slack or is it all worth replacing as apart anyway???
no disrespect but i think someone from prodrive may know what there on about!!!i appriciatete i need the head of to reallly confirm its not rings! ive a few issues with the oil and over fulling.
