lightweight ice is the key
At the moment I reckon all my ice weighs as much as another person in the car with me at all times.
When I upgrade to a valver etc, I am ditching the lot. A couple of nice speakers up front and thats it.
If he is planning on dropping in a 2.0 bottom end at some point, I would have thought headwork would be best approach. - Port, skim etc
I have also heard a lot of good things about cams, as the valver engine isnt too torquey as standard, but he should definitely get it chipped at the same...
My mate had the police come round to his house and threaten to arrest him unless he paid for a full tank of petrol. They alleged he had filled up then driven off without paying, which was complete rubbish.
Luckily he could prove he had been at work at the time of the offence. They said someone...
I always push the window to close the door when its hot outside.
You can tell if you going to get a shock or not I always think. You can feel it in the atmosphere.
I just made a shelf out of mdf.
Very easy just use your existing shelf as a template. Only problem is I put 2 pairs of 6x9s in and the shelf has started to sag in the middle. When I can be arsed I will do another one with strengthener in the middle
Really? Not that much then. I thought clios were a lot heavier.
Lets see, get rid of back seats, all interior trim, replace fuel tank with smaller custom unit like Weights, go on a diet. I reckon I could shed 50kgs from my clio hehe
Camilo, best bet is to contact Hill Power. Give Nick a call he is a decent bloke.
I know they used to do a kit for both the 2 and 3 bolt fixing. (Have a look at your airbox and see how many big silver bolts are holding it down)
Hillpower IK costs around £100 I think so it aint cheap but does...
Its a bit like when you see some old shed like a corrolla with a huge rear window sticker saying "INJECTION" or "16 VALVES" down the door.
Oh my god dont race him he has fuel injection!!
"a clio". and hope they dont ask anymore questions.
Not that Im embarassed of my car, I just think that people that dont know cars wouldnt want any more information, and those that do will ask for it.
Does the RSi have rear disks?
And does a 16v have a wider track than a 1.4?
Also proportionally, how much work do the rear disks actually do? If I kept rear drums and fitted big front disks, would that be ok for a big increase in power ie transplant?
How much work in swapping rear beam?
Vipers are different, being sealed an all. I think as long as you are realistic and dont expect to be able to see huge performance increases from an IK youll be ok.
I have a hillpower IK on my 1.4 and I didnt notice any difference but its staying on because it sounds great.
Malice did your dials have orange plastic behind them?
I want to know how these new ones work ie. how they can light up different colours, as I thought the standard clocks were actually made of orange plastic.
Cheers
