Skoda splitters, It's the future. My local Skoda partsman told me he sells more splitters to Clio owners than Fabia owners.:approve: For £12 it don't matter if it gets knocked off, there cheap enough. Double up on the screw fixings to get a nice smooth finish and use rustless screws of somesort.
Probably why he sold it, couldn't fathom out why it dies now and again. At least it was a simple job of changing the battery.
Enjoy your car, trackdays at Brands all the time now. I'm there 5th. Feb.
We can't comment on the price as the car market if different over in NZ. If you and dad are just using it as a track car then it don't matter about the wheels, bonnet gap or the cam belt not being done, dad will see to that of course. See how much you bargain on the price. Do they have...
Sounds like it is perfect, great! Ask Cliospares if they have any OE kits with the leveller and washers. Haven't fitted them myself so I'm no expert but I would imagine the aftermarket kits only include the light units and X'former, the leveller, wiring and washers would have to cobbled...

The scoring would be caused by previously worn pads or grit/stones stuck between the pad and disc. If you are on a hefty mileage then time to change them, get them with the bearings fitted as thier time will be up as well soon, 2 jobs done for the price off 1. OE discs are as good as any.
The OE's (Mild steel) are actually hidden behind the rear valance, Stealth type, as they call them thesedays. The huge s**tty can as you call it can easily be changed.
Ah, thats nice, you got what you wanted so go and enjoy it. Shame about the insurance costs though, I do fell sorry for young drivers and what they have to pay.
With the engine running spray WD40 on to each pulley, spindle in turn until the noise goes, then you've found it. May be the belt itself, in which case whatever you spray in that area the noise will go. The WD 40 will burn off in just a few seconds so no harm done.
Not on mine, it's mainly the front brakes. if your handbrake is sticking then have a look at the handbrake mechanism, pull off springs. You talking about a Clio or Fiesta?
