I know this gets discussed all the time but why do 17s affect your acceleration, most people who get 17s surely get lower profile tyres thereby almost eliminating any difference in rolling radius and therefore acceleration???!!! Help me cos I sure as heck dont understand!

with ref to two amp question earlier on all you do is run one remote wire from back of stereo to the boot where your amps arer. connect to first amp then run another wire from remote connection of first amp to remote connection of second amp. that way you only have one wire running the length...

You should be fine yeah, I guess its all down to whats more important to you, if you want power then go for a viper but you wont get noise! Best bet is speak to k-tec and see what they say about it, if you havent got air con then its prob the best way to go, im going to get a pipe made for me...

From what I understand the power loss is down to the increased temperature around the air filter. If the air filter is moved away from the hot engine and directly into the path of the cold air then it should be cold and therefore the reduction in power should be less! I know what you mean...

Hey everyone, Finally got my K&N 57i induction kit and fitted it ok, All the fitting went fine. Sounds brilliant from about 1500 to 4000 revs which im very happy with. It seems tho to have lost a little bit of power especially lower down the rev ranges??! Is this normal? Has anyone else...

I agree I am well happy with mine now I solved the bonnet sensor problem! (tip: once installed, coat in wd40 and the use electrical contact substance to keep water out and prevent the contacts drying out!!)

great choices main thing is avoid sony headunits! apologies to those with them but i have never got along with them, cant really touch alpine or pioneer for quality

ok from reading the stuff about navigation units on ebay it all says rgb output so i just assumed this was three rca plugs etc etc with all the input done by the remote control.?! hmmm

when the service interval comes up e.g. when car is approaching two years old. how long do you have to get the service done? Does it have to be done by the 2 year period or could you do it say when it is two years and two weeks old. My clio will be in storage for three months over the summer...

Can anyone give me a bit of help. My clio is going to be left at my familys for three months over the summer whilstI am in Jersey. I am lucky in that it will be garaged for the duration. Obviously I will take the battery out to stop it discharging, is there anything else I should do/not do...
