(but still not something i...
Renault wanted £1400 off of me because I had the mods, i.e. the alloys, lowered colour coded and the ice. no way I was going to pay an extra seven hundred quid even if it would mean getting four years ncb after just 2 years!
good luck with liverpoolvictoria
Lowered my little 1.2, parked it in a car park and came back to find a note from a nice chap called matt saying it looked well phat and check out http://www.cliosport.netwww.cliosport.net !!!!!

hmmm his article is all about stopping without ABS without skidding using braking control etc, i can understand what he says about being able to stop quicker without abs, if you practice its posisble by balancing just on the edge of when the abs kicks in, and you can stop quicker, so i think he...

Now thats what I would think! did anyone else see this article??! i dont understand how it can be true yet i cant understand why they would publish it!!!
In the news item on the cliosport homepage there was an article earlier in the week via I think the pistonheads?? page reference brakes. Supposedly written by an ex copper.
One bit said that if you had a 1966 (or whatever) morris minor and a modern car travelling at the same speed bumpers...

what I meant kdf ref the power was use the ups to power the xbox for the amount of time it takes to ftp the files and then just let the ups drain out of charge. otherwise you would have to go back out to the car to turn it all off!!!
Cheers for the info tho.
I would be very very interested to hear of other people putting one onto a 1.2 16v. Yes it comes with a cold air feed which I have quite close to the filter.
At the moment the air con is very rarely on cos I dont need it and even last summer I could never notice a difference whether it was on...

_KDF: How far did you get with your xbox project? I have read your website a few times now (cool by the way!!) How did you plan on the xbox still being powered up to allow FTP over the wireless link? I am thinking along the same lines, as you however I cant decide how to...
Always like the idea of dehandled and de locked car until I left lights on by mistake recently and drained the battery!! if you de lock and de handle your car how do you get in if you got no battery charge>>!!

I have a US Pioneer 6500 DVD didnt know it was US when I was buying it, but I still saved a reasonable amount of cash and I can still get Radio1 which is all I listen to on the Radio, may...
that xbox looks wicked!! how did you change the colour of the light?
one of my mates is hopefully getting my xbox chipped with no chip! works by flashing the bios with a new bios then you load the dasj board software on there. very tempted to have it installed in the boot, be a semi...
have a look in the gallery section for ideas best bet is to make a boot build, false floor and sides too, then mount the amps on the side and the sub box in the boot floor job done., carpet all the wood and it will look sweet as.
other problem is if you take out the standard seats and replace them with aftermarket ones without airbags apparently insurance companies start to have hissy fits!!
Pioneer 6500DVD £1000 brand new from various sites on the net, ranging from £550 on ebay although probably us spec units at that price.
Only downside to having US spec is that its region one for dvds (easily bypassable if you have a pc as you can copy all your dvds and remove the region...
Yes you can you could get any mp3 cd headunit and then just get a normal cd changer for it by the same make.
You could connect a different make cd changer by using ones that have remote displays and rf modulators but not really worth it, far better to get the same make.
Fingers crossed...
