Condition every time. Low milage can mean the engine hasn't been warmed up properly and this itself can cause damage. Low milage + no service history = dodgy.

My 197 limiter cuts in right on the red line whereas my CTR had a redline of 7800rpm and a limiter of about 8250rpm as standard. Those few extra revs really helped when cornering.
I think this is a common thing with Renault. My 197 alloys are corroded but I'm out of warranty now. I bought the car before the warranty ran out and had plenty of work done including new Brembo's. You need a garage that will fight your cause.
