That is horrible mate. This country is getting too soft. People who commit these sorts of crimes should have there hands chopped off. Few people would think about it then.
Ill be watching out a bit more in future. (goes and puts car in garage).
Cheers for the vote guys. Mines back on the road now but still need the backend lowered. Its being a right biatch.
No to sure if you can call it a valver though, the shells a 1.4 and the engines a willy lump.
Hiya,
Thanks mate, didnt notice you to be honest. probably comming home from work though so id have been in my own little world. I hoping to lower it this weekend, then ill be a bit happier with how it looks.

Thank you, this has really helped me as ive really wanted to properly clean my car for ages.
One more thing, my car isnt laquared (sp), this is why i really want to give it a good wax to protect the paint. Is there any special precautions i should take because of this?

Found this guide really useful.
Ive not really done much detailing before so i was looking for some advise on products.
After looking around for a bit ive found a few products i was looking at for a basic kit:
Meguiars NXT gen car wash,
Meguiars wash mit,
Meguiars quick clay,

About 2 am friday morning, came down the duel track with you. Just wanna say sorry if your on here for coming into your lane when we were coming up to the corner. Dont know if you noticed as i was just behind you, but as i braked it pulled me to the side  Think ill replace the front brakes...
Hydrolics dont really give you that bad handling if you have them set-up correctly. Hydrolic cylinders will compress as long as there is a correctly weighted acumilator(s) in the system. If these acumilators are switched or closed off however the ride is very harsh.

With regard to insurance and driving whilst drunk. I think they cover the third party but not you. Not 100% sure though. Hope this is the case otherwise it puts you out of pocket. Sorry to hear that mate.

The ideal solution is to scare people and make them realise the effect there recklace driving might have while still keeping them as safe as possible. Thats what the goverments tried to do with the Think campaigne and those speeding adverts with kids being run over.
I read the msn artice too...
When i said about safety relating to the doors i was thinking what if there is an accident for instance, thought it would be ilegal to overide the locking system.
Would this system be thatchcam approved and would it replace the need for a tracker?

Ive just got the gearbox off and stripped down. Hopefully i can get it all back together before next wekkend. O and the interior is still in about 10 parts. Grrrr.
I like the idea of being able to immobilise the engine and also the fact the car calls me, and also that the phone call commands overide the keys/keyfod and also that you can track where the car is. But i wouldnt want to lock the theifs in to be honest. Id just want them away from the car, my...
I dont understand what you mean about the post-it.
You mean write down the current mileage on the post-it and place that on the dash so they know you have recorded it and dont take it for a drive?

Although reading about it, i would be intrested to see someone fit one. Cant see how it could damage your engine in anyway so if youve got a bit of cash spare why not try it.
id imagine someone like Ben R might know a bit more about inlet airflow patterns.
Mark
Id be really intrested in this.
These are the only pictures i have at the moment though the car is coming out of the bodyshop fully finshed this weekend just in time for FCS.
