Why dont you try a BMC filter, quite well rated on here. Either that or a ITG maxogen rather than a viper? The other option is a replacement panel filter. Open IK will need good cold air feed + heat shield so as not to suck in hot air from engine bay, they do sound good though. Id try to get it...

This car ^^^ has been a thread topic on here before. iirc, there was a few concerns about how high it sat at the back on one side in the pictures ? I'd do as others have said, maybe move on to find a better example.

Looking good Adam badge colour suits car well, nice price on the f1s too mate. I think you will like them once youve done a few miles, not as stiff on the sidewalls as PE2 tho imo. :)

Looking good matey! Might be worth considering a heat delfector on the side of the filter nearest the engine to stop it sucking in hot air though? Id imagine its got a nice induction roar with it on.

Ive always liked the GTI 6. There used to be a black one round here a while back & it went like shizzle, sounded good too. Was quicker than I expected it to be :o
