Fair play for having a go.
A couple of questions (these are serious, not trolling)
What is it that you don't like about the notifications? I prefer my lock screen not to be filled with lots of stuff like iOS does, I like the fact I can wake up my phone, glance at the toolbar and see exactly...
You'll get used to the screen size very quickly, my N4 feels just right, not too big...not too small.
Pick up an iPhone and you'll wonder how you ever lived with it.
Because its not a 4 digit pin you can have as many characters as you like. You're not just limited to pin codes anyway, there are other methods of unlocking.
Everything is logical in Jellybean, unless you're a moron! You can stick your calendar on the screen as a widget, same goes for your inboxes etc.
The fact that it's ultimately configurable means it can operate how you want it to operate. For instance, you have control over what appears on...
Empty trash.
OS X won't actually remove the files until you empty the trash. If you've deleted anything on it then the files will still be there, just in another folder and hidden.
It's not subsidised though, that's the point. It's just sold at zero margin.
I don't know about google fibre, but something like internet services will have a much higher amount of incoming revenue per month per subscriber compared to a phone user buying a couple of apps a month.* (that's a...
Neither of them (google or LG) will be selling devices at a loss (in terms of unit price either to end customer or lg to google).
LG will have more considerable more money to recover on the product (development costs etc), but they will be recovering that from their own model which sells at a...
I prefer parallels for some reason. I've owned various releases of both and parallels is the only one that's up to date on my machine now (although I do have up to date versions of VMware on machines at work - but that's just historical as they used that).
Each to their own*!
I have to say that Parallels 8 + Mavericks is swift, I'm spending a lot of time inside a Windows 7 VM at the moment and it's noticeably quicker since the updating both.
If only I could get the new Microsoft remote desktop client to work properly over a SSH tunnel without...
I've not actually seen the new 7!
Humn....might have to go have a look at one somewhere this weekend.
I liked the old 7 coating because it felt better to hold than glass or metal (personal preference).
Yeah, it's just telling you that you're not connected to your home network, that's all.
If you want peace of mind, open up a web browser and try to go to google.com, it won't work if you've turned data off.
I'd wait. The 4 is a brilliant phone and jellybean is very good (no lag), but google are clearing stock.
The 5 is imminent and you'd be daft to get a 4 at this moment.
Tbh I think they've lost the plot (this isn't an attack before we get started, but £709 for a phone! lol).
While they could get away with being arrogant while Steve Jobs was around, there's nobody in Apple corporate team now who has even 0.0001% of his charisma, with steve they could get away...
We bought a cake mixer from john lewis online and did used the store pickup option.
I filed a price match request (before we'd even been to the store) straight away as there was another company selling the same model for about 60 quid cheaper - they refunded us within a couple of days. JL had...
This. I use hardly any minutes or texts because my wife is on giffgaff as well.
(Plus on the 1GB you are permitted use the data for tethering, except you can't on the iPhone because the carrier settings (O2) prohibit it!)
