That's just not true. I can quite happily replace the default browser and mail programs under OS X, hey it even provides a nice list of compatible programs along with a default for any file type. Heck I could even do it under system 9 when Microsoft actually provided a version of internet...
I don't even think that's the problem at Apple. I think they're making the same mistakes that Nokia, Blackberry and all of the other "biggies" made, that is that they're peddling water.
iOS6 was terrible, as best it could be described as a point release of iOS5.
Their reluctance...
My bosses son makes upwards of 30K per year for creating random "funny" facebook pages and just getting people to view them. Does the same thing with a website.
Basically, posts for a couple of hours each day and makes a comfortable living out of it.
I'm not even sure there will be another nexus, the idea behind the nexus was that it was a developer phone running an unfettered version of android.
Given that the big boys are now starting to do "Google editions" of phones I don't see what Google get out of it, apart from zero profit.
I...

We did a lot of reading on the babybmw forum, most people say that xenons are essential and people were saying you...
Nice. :)
I love the f20 in white, although I would say that as the wifes new 125d turned up yesterday and it looks f**king stunning. (Although I will say that I think photos of the 1 series don't do them justice, they look much better in the flesh)
The interior is also much better than the...
I've had one for 2 or so months (was one of the testers) and WiFi has been rock solid on my nexus 4 and mbp. Not had any problems with WiFi, its night and day between it and the sh1.
There are issues relating to broadband connection timeouts but there will be a fix for these soon, and these...
Wireless.
I have powerline adaptors plugged into the router but that's just to the TiVo boxes can see each other and so that they can be controlled via the app, oh and a raspberry pi is also connected to it.
We use netflix a lot, never have any problems with it. I don't ever check our usage!
I'm just happy that there appear to be very few people in my immediate vicinity on VM, most people seem to be either on BT or Sky which is great for my connection. My speed never drops in the evening either, bonus!
Argument? More of a discussion....
However, I honestly don't ever remember them adding new features post beta 1 other than features specific to unannounced hardware although I'm happy to be proven wrong on that.
Announced features that aren't currently enabled don't count!
There won't be anymore features though, barring those that are specific to the iPhone5S. There will be tweaks and bug fixes, but what you're seeing is a feature complete version of iOS7 for current devices.
This.
It's something that you do maybe once before you realise that things break. There's no guarantee that beta 2 won't introduce as many bugs as it fixes.
I wouldn't be using one of these UDID resellers, it's against the terms and conditions of use and apple will and DO cancel these...
Lets face it, is iOS7 had been anything like the iOS5->iOS7 transition then they may as well have given up! iOS6 was woeful. Here's iOS5, but worse..."round of applause and whooping from the audience".
iOS7 looks prettier, from what I've seen the control centre looks awful, but that could...
Without trying to sound like a troll, it's just like Android Jellybean, only a year later!
This announcement was going to define whether or not my defection to Android was merely a blip or something longer term, oh well, maybe iOS8.
I can't help but feel disappointed in Apple once again, a...
I most looking forward to a keynote that's devoid of Scott Forstall :)
iOS7 is obviously the interesting one, have they learned that their way of doing stuff isn't always the best or right way? Rumors and off handed remarks seem to imply that there is scope for it to be more open.....time will...
Nokia's biggest problem was with their development teams who (I had the misfortune of having to deal with) seemed to have the arrogance of Apple ("we're right") but without actually being right, at all, ever.
Once they had an idea in their head it was the right way, you could have a thousand...
