think ive pretty much made up my mind as to get one now but just gona have to get a few things sorted first, so if anyone is going to be interested in a 172 in the next few months ;)
i think ill probly go for a black one hehe. just somthing about black cars that look so nice when they are clean. makes all the hard work worth while and there is nothing worse that slogging over your car all day for it to look no different than when you started it.
yeah, thats what i was thinking when i had a look for some. looks like i best get saving lol. also, ive been looking at the stage 2 maps. do you have to have anything else upgraded for this or can you just have it on a bog standard engine? dont mean to sound stupid but i dont really know...
would love an r26 but they are a bit out of my price as they are starting at about £8-9k. mpg wouldnt really bother me as i get 29mpg out of the clio but what are they like reliability wise as it would be my everyday workhorse. what are the differences performance wise compared between say a 54...
lol wouldnt be for a little while yet mate as ive would have to sort out funds and selling my clio first as well as sort out a few little bits on it. if im gona do it, ill probly start looking in the next month or so. would only be the cheaper end of them too. £6k or there abouts as that would...
starting to think its time to make the next step and get somthing a bit more grown up (but not too much) and im thinking the meg would be a perfect choice. has anyone else made this move and if so what were your feelings on doing it as im still very much loving the clio but just feel like its...
dont you have to have the more expensive one to do that though and also how much more does it cost to get henk to do a custom map once you have sent the details to him as it could end up being more expencive. not being a tight arse or anything but just want to make sure im making the right...
surely though, the k tec one would be better as it is done to the individual car on a rolling road rather than a generic map, so results would be better as its custom to that car and not a general all rounder type thing. dont quote me as im not expert at all but this is what i have been led to...
i had a similar sort of problem just before i turned 25. my policy ran out 2 weeks before my birthday and the difference in price was £300 for before and after i turned 25 so i got my missis to put me on her insurance for 2 weeks but on my car. and it only cost £40 to do it and was all legit...
yeah its only a 1*2 engine thing i think although im not 100% so could still be worth a look. try doing a search on here in the for sale section. they might have something, if not then put something up in the wanted section.
i think that is suposed to be like that mate as the rail guard doesnt have anything that goes into it and mine was like it when i took it off to clean it up.
this cars mint mate, saw it in the fast car mag when it was in there, not sure if the graphics are legal or not but knowing the ol` bill it would just be an excuse to pull you and check you car over even if its not illegal.
ive changed the drive shaft, thinking that the clunking was the cv joint and when i pulled the pinch bolt out, the thread was knackerd so i put a normal nut and bolt in to get me home untill i got the proper strengthened one for it.
they are looking abit perished so was just wondering if they were worth doing as im probly going to end up changing all the engine mounts and the bushes in the dog bone mont and just thought if it wasnt a hard job then i might as well do them at the same time but if its a pain in the arse then i...
yeah mine is a daily driver so not sure about which ones to get. will probly go for the oem ones as money isnt on my side at the momment.
also, would this help wear out my tyre on this side as i noticed when i had the wheel off earlyer to change the pinch bolt, that the inside of the tyre was...
