Re: Z4 - Perfect No More (But it's being fixed so it's all OK)
Bloody hell Rob, thats not exactly a povvo courtesy car!
Beats public transport......or walking ;)
A bit of an odd one this one. I need a decent picture of the boot floor on a 182, in particular the area directly below the tailgate catch where the boot floor meets the rear panel.
IIRC it falls away slightly as it meets the rear panel so that to the uneducated eye it looks like the boot floor...
Dave you obviously didn't properly explain what you'd be missing by attending this 'meal'.
We only get to see you one night a week, two if we are lucky.
You don't spend enough time with me or the kids....Nick forgets what you look like and Mike cries himself to sleep....and now above all you...
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More (But it's being fixed so it's all OK)
I know mate, we've had that one cropping up recently as well. We've also had an even better one.....the insurance company not insuring the customer on our courtesy cars.
Proper lowz.
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More (But it's being fixed so it's all OK)
Glad to hear you've had a result from this mess mate!
Just so you are aware though, even if the repairer isn't insurance approved, if they are manufacturer approved (i.e BMW) they can still provide you with a courtesy car and as...
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More
Ahh mate what a ballache! Don't worry, as long the insurance companies involved don't drag their heels then all will be fine.
Remember as well, its YOUR call where it gets repaired. It doesn't have to be where they dictate, so make sure it gets to a decent repairer.
All depends if you inform your insurer. If it all goes via the third party and your insurance company don't get a whiff of it then you can get away without being stung.
All depends on who blames who though. If there is doubt about liability then it always pays to let your insurance company...
Lol! I hardly think I'd be accepted as a true Staines Dealer.
Not rolling in the positively tractor like Pug anyway....and definitely not giving that typically gay French toot of the horn.
Re: Grasshopper Inn Meet, March TBD (Please Vote)
St Paddy's day and its England Vs Ireland on the 17th.
Mothers Day on the 18th.
Think Rob....think. ;)
To be honest if he can see traffic coming along there and still he decides to pull out, why didn't he pull into the right hand lane instead of across into yours? Sounds to me like he overcooked it pulling out.
Probably trying to keep up with the guys who had already pulled out.
I can't see how you could be proportioned any amount of blame on that one Emma, although im sure they'll be people on here ready to argue the point!
If the insurance company give even the meerest hint of the words 'write' off' then PM Gally or myself. A write off should be at the bottom of a...
The times they are a'changin.
I think if you asked anyone over the age of say, 28 what they'd pick out of the Puegeot GTi range for example, well the obvious answer is the 205.
206 GTi 180 was just an afterthought so doesn't really count.
The 306 has that same DNA but was more mature and...
Neither did I. Dave rang me after he drove it and his first line was "Well i won't be buying one of those!"
I guess everyone is different. Mark surprised me when he got his as he's very much into his cars with a pureness of feel. Personally I love the look of the 200 (has to have the Speedlines...
Ahh bugger Emma! Glad all involved are ok. Cars can be fixed and that looks like a fairly simple one.
If you need a cheap second hand front bumper PM Budgie or Sir_Dave. I know they definitely have one in Monaco, and if you want it painting Mondial let me know. I can get it done for not much...
That little list of mods you have planned is pretty much all you need to enjoy it comfortably on track. Maybe consider a seat upgrade as well as mine are one of the best things I put in it.
You don't necessarily have to have R888's but usually once you swap from standard road tyres to these you...
Well that last update was only half of last year.
The final update until I'm actually up to date is to follow soon and that will outline the mods it's now had....;)
And yes, you are right Lewis, it hasn't got a Whiteline ARB fitted. Its not something I've had in my mind to fit as I don't...
James also suggested that the map was long over due an update, so on the same night as the spark plugs were changed, he went to work whilst I attempted to look over his shoulder and pretend I knew what I was looking at.
Lucky for James I didn’t as I didn’t have a clue what he’d actually done…...
Some additional 2010 bits…..
Firstly some extra pics from Brands.
Note the more aggressive stance Nicks Cup had then. Something I envied that day...
It’s at this point that I should highlight a few modifications that took place over the course of 2010 that I didn’t mention earlier...
Mate what a giggle that whole day was. Your moment on Paddock was a true highlight......totally broadside with me wondering which side to go around!
2011 will be up tonight for those waiting....
Get your flame suit on Steve lad, you are over the centre line and that's blatantly dangerous driving!
On a corner as well....someone of your age should know better ;)
Love it!
