measure from the centre of the pre drilled hole on the spoiler to the bottom edge which would line up with the lip on the boot then the same with the side and mark. I marked with a screw driver so when I drilled it didnt slip and slide all over the show!

ok so I had existing holes which where obviously from the Clio cup spoiler (I think) but these did not line up.. out came the drill
no screws included down to B&Q I got some and cut to size! (will need to put a bit of paint over them so they don't start to rust also the holes will be...

I had a 1.2 Mk2 Clio never crashed it.. I moved to a 1.2 TCE and binned it.. year and a bit later I got my 197 I'm now 22 and next month 23 and have slowed down.. its too easy to bin such a nice car. No one on here is going to change your mind about what car you get but at least listen to them...
shouldn't effect it to much in the dry but in the wet I keep to the nubben on the tyre and replace at 3mm although it shouldn't be "lively". legal limit is 1.7 I think.
very nice results! cant help and think what its doing to the paint though? suppose its grand if its washed off quickly! if stuck in the future try that restore stuff though!

cant recommend it enough. non acid will take anything off. spray it on (£3 spray bottle from Tesco) use a new paintbrush to brush it round (wont mark the wheels). leave for 5 minutes power hose off. will remove tar brake dust and general crap from the road
sorry I thought I put it in engine :( was there not a lot of 197s that went boom so they stopped trying to make the kit? or was that a turbo kit?

hey mate I had the 1.2 TCE and a friend has the 1.4 they where both the same power wise and fuel wise. It'd be better if you could to get the 1.2 TCe and get a proper remap for it it wont be just as powerful as the 1.6(should bring it up to 120/125 bhp) but it should have better MPG (weigh over...
