Awesome looking wheels, I bought a great set off powey on here, really made a big difference to my 172. IIRC renault quoted me about £700 for a new set of 4!!!!

Question as above :) Are spacers really worth it?Currently have a black 172, lowered on Eibach sportlines, with 182 cup pack alloy wheels. What benefit would spacers give me? If it's just for looks im not sure I can justify £100 odd for them! As I understand it they simply bring the wheel...

To be honest dude, I havent got a clue whether it's the larger 307 one or the smaller? This splitter type malarkey is confusing! Will give it a go on the weekend, I was concerned that it needed alot of bending to fit right, we'll see! Fingers crossed! Cheers for the pics and advice, veruy much...

Thanks Ed, thats great. So did you find that the end needed bending quite a bit to get around the Clio bumper? I was worried I had bought the wrong model of splitter!! Also what car did you fit yours to? Were there screws already on the underside of the bumper? Cheers A.

Hi guys Received a 307 splitter thru the post, it's this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380128781993 When having a look to see about fitting, you have to bend it quite a bit to get round the curve of the clio bumper properly, is this right? Tried masking taping it...

If it was indeed the aux belt, wouldn't the whine be there when not turning the wheel too?? Basically the whine is only there when I do two things at the same time - accelerate and turn. So Im thinking PAS pump rather than aux belt. Where is the PAS pump located?

Yep aux belt and tensioners were done at the same time. Im stumped!

Does it when the car is in neutral too. Gearbox whine from the diff - what's the diff and can this be ruled out if it does it in neutral? I was thinking it could be the Power steering pump?

...to do to a black 2002 172 sport? Already planning on lowering a bit and changing side repeaters to crystal black, any other suggestions for subtle (cheap) mods welcomed! :) Don't like tinted windows though, and from trawling the forum it looks like alot of people dont either! :P
