DirectLine - Lowering when over 25

Hello

Over 25 and wish to fit Eibach's sportlines to my 172, has anyone done this with Direct line if they are over 25 and if so how much extra insurance did you have to pay?

I did but the guy didn't seem to understand what lowering springs were and said it would be another £350 per year! Hmmm....so was just wondering what kinda prices other people have paid

With Morethan non "make it go faster in a straight line" mods are free. So they told me when I went with them. Haven't put it to the test yet.

I can believe that insurance increase,tried to charge us an extra £400 to roll on dubs!

If your going to mod your car, paying for a specialist policy is the way forward.

Thought about changing company, any recommendations?

Currently pay £950 p/year with direct line on my 172, 25 year old, 2 1/2 years driving, zero no claims bonus as my 2 years no claims is tied up on my other car.

Had a quote from Adrian Flux - over £2k!!!

Try quinn direct, there pretty good. I think they allow any no BHP increasing modifications for free??? or is that adrian flux :|
