KDF, i think this may have been directed at me, i wasnt meaning to say that i would be driving faster cos i have ABS, i was saying that because i have a 172 rather than a 1.4 rallye (my old car) my motorway speeds would be higher, maybe, and on the whole the 172 is a car that can put u in dodgy...
195 is the width or foot print of the tyre, 40 is the profile or depth of the sidewall of the tyre. so ride hight would remain the same ud just have wider tyres at the rear. Would most prob cause understeer as chris said, because the rear would have more grip than the front. Think its an mot...
im just glad i have it, mine has kicked in a few times but its those times like when u are on a wet motorway and the traffic just STOPS in front of u that im glad i have it especially since ill prob be going alot quicker than i would of in my old un-absd car :D

i was looking at this the other day when i was at work, the wheels certainly look like they can take it cos the tyre sidewalls do this /.....\ thought they were over inflated at first but they wernt.

Cheers mate i thought that would be the case, the cars brand new and ren told him to take it back to car craft as they would have to fix it nothing to do with them since he bought it from car craft! cheeky eh
Hello was seeking a bit of warrenty help for my mate who has just bought a brand new ren laguna. His engine just expired and renault turned him away because he got the car from car craft. I gather its an import the same as a clio, so will the 1yr manufactures/2yr dealer warrenty stand? so should...
