Wouldnt let any of this put you off to be honest i had mine since 9k and in that time ive had a sensor go faulty and thats it has the usual knocking noises like axle tramp but my old focus diesel company car used to do that. Also you are hearing all the bad points here and the cars that have...
my 1.8 tddi focus estate struggles for grip in this weather and that has an almighty 90bhp, really greasey roads around me at the mo. My 172 is the same but was fine in the dry. not really the right conditions to be hooning around IMHO!!
Had exactly the same problem with mine even sent it into renault to be fixed and also went in for a service whilst it was doing it and they said they couldnt find anything wrong. I checked the brake fluid and it was low, topped it up and now its fine!!
I have to be honest, id never heard anyone raving about the williams before i got a clio and started coming on here, i always used to think of it as, an over priced and expensive to insure valver. My best all time hot hatch is either a mk1 golf gti, or a 205 1.6 gti. After all if it wasnt for...

Right i have been driving for 5 years and have 5 yrs no claims and my insurance company are offering me protection on them, is it worth paying extra to protect them? Who does and who doesnt and why?
Well i have a 172 it has never let me down and doesnt rattle. the only thing that has ever gone wrong wth it has been a yaw sensor for the esp and the 4k rattle, which doesnt really bother me because mine lives above 4k!! Oh and the sensor was replace under warrAnty

Send the manager a letter. Invalidating warranties is bs. You can get it done anywhere so long as its done in line with the manafacturers spec.
f**k that just go and see him
Just landed myself a new job which comes with a company car, so my clio is going to get little use. I did ask then whether i could use my car instead of the comp one and they said yes if you want to bounce it round building sites eerrrmmm no, plus i would put milions of miles on it. The car...

Yep also know what u mean, i drive a corsa van 1.7 dti power baby and oh my god its slow doesnt stop and will not go round corners at any cost, you could change your shoes and socks during the time inbetween gear changes.
i did after i posted on here the description is excellent and about as clear as a renault technician at the service desk at your local renault garage. heated external rear view mirrors did they give a chimp a dictionary and say come up with some kind of new b****cks for wing mirrors?
Dont think its the servo thing becos the mirror clips onto that in the mirror housing, it had fallen off that and was dangling by the wires which were attached to the mirror itself.
Oh its an 03 if that makes a difference
