thanks for all the replies.
Whilst i did think long and hard about some Rota's, they are just not me, and would go well with the rest of the JDMbling on my car!
I am edging towards the XC8's at the moment!
But keep your comments coming! :)
OK, so after lots of decisions, i have a short list of new wheels.
If you would cast your opinion on the following to fit my Impreza.
They will be 17x9, with a 245/40/17 tyre, so should be suitably PHAT!
So my car:
The wheels:
Work XC8
Work 11R
Work CR
Volr RE30...
awesome in so many ways!!!
Good to see the ESR guys there too (yeah we stock it! http://www.ekmpowershop11.com/ekmps/shops/shedmotorsport/eatsleeprace-22-c.asp )
:D
you cant laquer them.
They are a paper based sticker, and will go soggy if you clearcoat them.
Took ages doing mine, so none were lifting or peeling etc..... was a b1tch!
Not much over standard, 350bhp 316lb/ft. But engine work has been done to make it reliable, so sump baffle, oil cooler, fuel system, intercooler etc.
But put a fair amount of time and effort into the chassis, so handles pretty well!
Cheers for the positive comments guys! :)
god damn i hate these vids!!
Just reminds me how crap the UK scene is.
You would be lucky to get a handful of decent cars like that at a massive show over here!
ok, so done a few small bits.
Firstly i finally got round to fitting my STi replica front splitter.
I also got round to fitting my Cusco radiator panel:
Next on the agenda was getting my car through noise testing at track days. With a day at Goodwood looming i took the car...
had mine just over 2 years now, with 20k under my belt, and its the best car i have owned.
bags of character, cheap to run, and good fun down a B road.
We were at DC10 too (www.shedmotorsport.com).
our first time at a VW/German show, and really enjoyed it.
show wasnt massive, but the quality of cars was generally very high! Great atmosphere too!
Red Golf with carbon driveshafts and Mini dash was the B-O-M-B!
Impreza fuel surge is a thing of the past for me!!!
Due to the 'saddle' tank design, Impreza suffer from fuel starvation on long sweeping corners at anything less than half a tank. Not ideal for track days!
So i had a fuel swirl pot setup fitted.
My uprated Walbro 255l in tank pump now...
