you cant laquer them. They are a paper based sticker, and will go soggy if you clearcoat them. Took ages doing mine, so none were lifting or peeling etc..... was a b1tch!

Gauge mount came with the gauge, its pretty standard, but being a Defi one is nicely made etc. www.rhdjapan.com should sort ya out!

i hope he plans to run some serious wheels! otherwise it wont do the car and kit justice!

Not much over standard, 350bhp 316lb/ft. But engine work has been done to make it reliable, so sump baffle, oil cooler, fuel system, intercooler etc. But put a fair amount of time and effort into the chassis, so handles pretty well! Cheers for the positive comments guys! :)

That looks like an American Civic tho, and they dont get FD2 Type R's over there. So more likely just a kitted/styled regular FD2.

had mine just over 2 years now, with 20k under my belt, and its the best car i have owned. bags of character, cheap to run, and good fun down a B road.

2 hours up the road, or a few hours to the docks, then a boat trip, then a few hours the other side, plus camping, food etc etc. Good comparison!

We were at DC10 too (www.shedmotorsport.com). our first time at a VW/German show, and really enjoyed it. show wasnt massive, but the quality of cars was generally very high! Great atmosphere too! Red Golf with carbon driveshafts and Mini dash was the B-O-M-B!

Impreza fuel surge is a thing of the past for me!!! Due to the 'saddle' tank design, Impreza suffer from fuel starvation on long sweeping corners at anything less than half a tank. Not ideal for track days! So i had a fuel swirl pot setup fitted. My uprated Walbro 255l in tank pump now...
