    Animal windsurf team PICS (wh*rage)

good pics but as stated a longer lens is a must, if you have shot the originals at max quality and size then you should be able to get some decent close ups as long as you dont intend in printing them as web based images only need to be a resolution of 72ppi. if you have photoshop make a new...

Colour Coding Bump Strips... How Long Will The Finish Last?

yup should be fine mate, if you do a decent job then there is no reason why it cant last for ages, half the clio is made from plastic which has been painted and that doesnt fall off.

    Insurance Quotes...LOL

its because there are more and more uninsured drivers out there and as a result those of us who are good and pay our insurance end up having to cover the short fall, this means higher premiums and will in turn result in more people not being able to afford it and driving without insurance. its a...

    Jungle Jim's progress thread - mk2 ph2 non sport

cheers schweppy :) i put the tweeters there as the are too big to fit under the original tweeter grill and it would involve taking half the dash apart and running a lot more cable, was easier this way and still sounds great

its up to you mate, fitting the wings is easier but then you will have more parts to paint and you will have to get official side skirts which are more expensive. the body shop i enquired about also said if you do the wings you would have to paint the bonnet to blend it in. i painted mine myself

    Fitting components!

no need to remove the dash, why dont you fit the tweeter to the door card, and leave the stock tweeter in place, the replacement one will sound better being run from the crossover. to power the cross over just cut the connector off the door speaker and run a cable from that to your crossover...

    The WTF "Appreciation" Thread

Re: WTF "appreciation" thread it does look like it has been done to a decent standard unlike half the cars in this thread, xquisite is a decent bodyshop from the work i have seen. i just think wrapping your car up in leather and vinyl is a bit mad

    182 backbox on 1.2?

You dont have to remove you spare wheel well for the k-tec system it fits round it BUT the exhausts dont match the 182 bumper cut out so you would to have to modify it and its not exactly cheap to start with. i made my own, using a mig welder and a mixture of stainless steel pipe and some...

    alloy paint

i did mine in ford graphite grey metallic, its slightly darker but as my car is silver i wanted more contrast. (they are almost black in some light, but lighter when the sun hits them as they have a lot of flake in them. also black wheels tend to make the tyres appear grey)
