Bearings only for the rears and i'd just buy the genuine Renault rear discs. If you buy them like that, then all 4 are just direct replacements for what's there and no need for getting anything pressed.
I only had to get my bearings pressed as I bought them seperately.
Not sure how much a...
You can get the Genuine Renault rear discs for around £110 (I think there was a deal on from one of the traders recently). They will have the bearing and ABS ring included.
I bought some discs which had neither, but I got the bearings seperately, had them pressed in and just re-used the ABS...
It's always nice to see pictures of a man's helmet.
Really nice bike. Quite a different style to the new ones.
I park next to a 1000cc one at work (whilst on my YBR 125cc) and it makes me want one even more.
I joined a lobby last night and there was a lad shouting a fair bit about 'nuke boosting', then he dropped out of the lobby shouting 'cheat' to one of the other people in the lobby.
A short while after the game started, I noticed there was two guys standing in a quiet part of the map where one...
Once they can be moved, may be worth checking the threads inside haven't been damaged.
I removed a set from a car and the adjustor platforms had severly corroded after being siezed.
I never suggested you did :S Sorry if it somehow came across that I was.
not sure what the rolling eyes are for :(. You obviously felt you needed to respond, but I am not sure of the point in your reply, it's just 'general' info.
In all honesty, if anoyne is interested in some 'serious track...
Just ROFL. At those saying that these are the same, or no worse than standard (although they apparently offer less body roll), but saying they are no good for track.......
Does that mean the standard setup is not good enough for track? I guess the 10 years or so since the first 172 RS Clio has...
I hadn't planned on going to this as Chatsworth is the weekend before, but my girlfriend is due to work on the Chatsworth weekend so I think I have to change my plans.
Just been looking at the yozzasport one. It doesn't say if it is stainless or mild. When it doesn't state, i'd normally assume mild, but it's priced at what I have seen for an 'off the shelf' stainless system.
My 172 has a Janspeed Exhaust on it. It is a decent exhaust, seems well enough made, it's only about 16month old etc, but it isn't exactly to my taste. It's a little louder than i'd like at 60-70 and I prefer the original look where the exhaust can't be seen.
I have looked at the K-Tec site and...
I had the choice of either and went for a 172 (04 plate), that was mainly because I am not too keen on the 182 exhausts (that'll be four of us now). I am actually not too keen on my exhaust either, but it's easy to change that for a different one that's hidden.
The 172 does seem to take a while...
Seems I don't notice 'hard' suspension anymore, according to my recent passengers, they are noticeably stiffer than the originals.
Mine are coming back off the car. My girlfriend preferrs the standard setup and the car wil be hers soon, so it has to be how she wants it.
If it was my choice...
I bought a projector (was cheap, as in £50) and I am using that in the bedroom, it's a 69" screen on the wall, which is about 8foot away from the headboard.
The only problem I have is that it only projects a square screen, not widescreen.
I'd say 40" isn't too big.
Nasty..................................
I'll take the drivers side wing mirror including cap if you decide you want to break it.
The vulture circles.....
Mine are on and although I am more than happy with them, I don't seem to have noted as much of a difference to the standard setup as some have, however, I wasn't expecting much difference, so might be partially 'in my head' (or is it the other way around?).
I went with the (now 'age old')...
went to hamsterly Forrest today and parked next to a car I thought I'd seen before. It had a 'sunshine bus' sticker as well as a cliosport sticker.
A search suggests Hutchie? Pic below (mine is the red Clio).
I have nobody to blame other than myself as I was the last person to bleed the brakes, must have tightened it too much last time. :o Well, it's that, or I blame renault, shich would be unfair :D.
What are my chances of getting it out? Or will it be easier to just get another caliper?
Got the brakes sorted properly today, new discs and pads all round as well as braided lines and new fluid throughout.
Gave the calipers a good check over and they are fine, but the pads on the front and the rear weren't sitting 100% right and the fronts looked like cheap ones.
Loads better...
I changed my discs, pads and flexi hoses today, but I was greeted by two issues....CV grease all over the inside of one wheel and........one possible leaking rear shocker (I originally thought the wobbly back end was from a slow puncture that I hadn't noticed, but now I am thinking differently)...
