    editing a pdf?

I use Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard at work and I can edit PDF's. It depends on what was originally used to create them, but, in general, for what I use it for it's fine. I doubt it's free, but it may be cheaper than any charges.

    [PC/PS3/XB360] COD:MW2 Official thread - Contains spoilers

Balls, I am off out at 2:45 and I won't get back in until 17:30, just when everyone will be getting in from work. I'll probably have the same problems I had last time, when it was too busy to get a download.

    Engine Code question

Morning, I have a couple of questions, not all are really RS Clio related, but I am hoping for some help. I am pretty certain from what I have read in the past, that my 172 has a F4R engine. Can anyone confirm that some MKII Clio's used a DF4 engine? Also, is this used in the Twingo...

    my mother + 19inch wheels = dangerous!

My girlfriend has ruined a freshly refurbed set of Clio wheels, so I think I am going to buy a set of these as the cheaper option, otherwise, I could just throw the money in the bin instead of paying for a refurb, would have the same effect.

My mates just found out his car is cat c

Could he not just keep it? Also, has he checked himself. Dealer may have made a mistake, doubtful but you never know.

    seat runners little metal clip

ROFL, I had a good look at it all yesterday and seems easy enough. Off to the scrap yard tomorrow, hopefully non RS CLio's have the same runners???

4 pot kit fitted to the Evo

Nice, a lad I know has just put GTO calipers and discs to a Proton GTI without a huge amount of modding. He has said it makes a fair difference and is more progressive braking. *edit* The relevance of that is that the early evo calipers fit onto the proton, so the GTO conversion may be one fir...

    seat runners little metal clip

I have this issue now, anyone know if the little clip can be bought seperately? The passenger seat just slides backwards and forwards :(. Currently has a seatbelt keeping it in place.

    Plug loose in head

I'm a bit more 'at ease' after reading that. Going to get some new plugs and leads tomorrow and also get the thread checked in the head.

    Plug loose in head

That was what I had thought, but seems odd to have done it after 4k miles and with no prior warning (she picked me up from the airport last night and nothing 'seemed' up). Although, to be honest, I have never seen it happen before, so I am only applying what I think is logical.

    Plug loose in head

My lass has been out in the car and she called me to say it 'wasn't right'. Just been to it and when I first started the car, there was a 'popping' sound coming from around the oil filler cap. Had a look through the gap and the lead was loose. When I took the upper part of the inlet manifold...

    My OZ F1's

I was the opening bidder..... I bid £100 and would offer to pay that and collect this weekend but I'm guessing that's pointless as you turned down £125.

    Supercharging my clio!

Good point :approve:. I meant starting with 'reasonable' (I started with circa 130bhp, which was reasonable IMO) power though. :D. More things to change if you start with a 1.2 though, the rear drums to discs would be something to do as well as (possibly) larger wheels for the brakes, but it...

    Supercharging my clio!

I like the idea od a Turbo'd or Supercharged Clio, but I don't like the idea of the price. I am not saying that companies overcharge for the kits (don't really care if they are or aren't, what I think won't change their price either way). I added circa 100bhp to my last car (with the potential...

Both parts of the catch were replaced when mine went in. Might just depend on condition, if it does, I may have been lucky to get there.....

which clio is the best as a base for a track car ?

As you say 'base for a track car', then surely (budget dependant) any of the 172's or 182's would do? Weight can be saved on each one, power can be gained on each one, suspension etc can be changed on each one. Unless I am missing the point, as it is just a base/start, then would a decent ph1...

    Finally upgrade brakes :)

I suppose so, but I had assumed at least one previous owner (guessing a different one to the last owner to change the brakes) knew their stuff as one owner bought a full exhaust, had all the wheels refurbed and 4 x new conti sports put on all in the space of a few months. Maybe they just ran...

    Finally upgrade brakes :)

Maybe the factory fitted ones were fine, but the brakes that were on my Clio when I bought it were pretty crap when wanting to stop quickly. I'm not talking about extended heavy braking. I am guessing a previous owner went for the cheapest of cheap on the fronts and the rears were due for...

    Finally upgrade brakes :)

When I first got my Clio, I was very un-impressed with the brakes, but I cahnged to a similar setup and I am now more than happy. Stops a lot better.

    Iphone randomly vibrating.

Does it have a cover on the back? My girlfriends 3g did this, she took the cover off (releasing the pressure/force you mentioned) and it has been fine since.

    Xbox 360 hdmi lead's ???

I now feel as though I have been robbed, I paid £1.99 for one, I could have saved myself 99p :(. I had the component leads that come with the 360 (5 colour ones I think) in before the HDMI cable and noticed no difference to using the HDMI cable.

    Excel Graph Help

Google has failed me and nobody in the office has tried this so hoping someone on here can help me. I have a simple enough graph (3 plot lines), but a couple of the lines are all over the place, a smooth line won't help, so I have added a Linear Trerend. Great so far..... When I have the...
