R3OBC ive got changing my springs down to 1hour now front and back because ive took them on and off a few times now for warrenty work, just be carefull not to put to much strain on the flexi brake pipe on the front, used a 4post post lift at work to change mine.

Right im after a exhaust for my mk2 172 has any1 got some pictures of 172s with after market exhausts on and sounds clips as well if possable, im after like a burbble sound like on the imprezas. what makes would yous lot recommend? can anybody help

The 1 in the picture is a 172 cup spoiler...
Mine to was hard to press, so i converted it and put a mk1 172 indicator stalk on with the horn press on the end, just unpluged the old1 and pluged the new1 in, it works a treat problem solved :D
JJ172 I got the arches rolled at Revolution in Gateshead, and it was £25 all together for the 2 rear arches. and it dosnt affect the body warranty.

JJ172 No problems at all with the 17s dosnt feel any different when driving holds the rd alot better with the suspension setup and had the rear arches rolled just incase.

Nope the rear liners didnt need 2 come out as they dont go round the top of the inner arch they just go behind the shocker and drop down to the bumper. £20 a arch to be rolled
Carlouk my 172 has been dropped 40mm alround on apex springs and runnin 17s, and ive had the rear archs rolled but you dont need them rolling if ur keeping the standard 16s on...
Just bin looking though the 12-18 feb issue of Auto Express and on page 85 there is a L.A.D Motorsport advert telling you about their own Clio Sport 200(Cup) and the conversion is available for anybody with a 172 which will be 200+ bhp engine kit costing £1200 inc VAT.

James it was quite easy to fit. I had 2 cut a V shape on each bend so it would go round the corner of the bumper, and cut a piece off each end so it was the right length and it is fastened on with pop riviets.
FAO CUPSIZE, i got the crome 172 rear badge from a stand at max power last year that sold individual letters, they cost £1:50 per letter. and the k&n filter u also asked about, it dosnt really give any great gains of bhp and torque just helps it breath a bit better and sounds abit better than...
