Went from 4 Uniroyal Rainsports all around to 2 new Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 up front. Not much difference in grip in this weather. Taking in consideration the Uniroyals where low on profile as to the rubbed in F1's! Wanted to stay on the Rainsports but not that of a populair brand at tire...

Full-lock on snow/iced roads is no grip! I heard a strange noise also when steering, turns out to be the crushed slush frozen up in the wheelwells. I felt an imbalance on the highway, turns out to be crushed slush frozen up on the O.Z. F1 spokes.

My FEB 2002 has auto wipers & light, Multi CD... but no cruise control and ESP. (not that i miss the last two!) Why can't the wiper stalk be ticked down and wipe only once? (like a no retention 'click'; like with the turn signal)
