I'm not gonna get any of it smoothed, I don't think it will look right. So I'm just going to get all of the plastic inserts done in gloss black eventually, though this will probably mid next year :)
Nope! No spacers at all. ;) They're 8J all around, but I remember someone saying that the 5 doors rear arches are smaller? So I dont have so much space. Yea, the rear is down a lot more. Still got a little bit of rake, but nowhere near as much as i had in the second and third pics :D
Yea, sucks to be a boy when it comes to insurance. :rasp: . If your legal cover is totally seperate to your car cover, but they are just looking into the case of it I can't see that it would effect your NCB. But I don't know a 100% I'm afraid. lol.
I love my V-Maxx's, and I don't find them too hard or anything like that. The rear springs do compress a hell of a lot when you put weight on them though! I can't take anyone in the back of my car now. lol. my wheels are out of the arch though and 8J wide, it scrubs up the sidewall a treat. Ha...
Shows my current Stance, but it's dirty and a crappy picture ^^
And these ones are better shots when it's clean, but much more nose down as I hadn't had the rear arches rolled at this point...
Mines running on 14's, still got about 15/20mm on the front coil left? And about 10 on the rear...

If any of you know where it is give him a call...in the meantime marvel at the first picture, which I've put below. ;)
Can't believe anyone would even think of using wood screws on a car, unless it was for a joke. Looks awesome now though, love the stance. And it has a nice amount of camber too
That is sooooo nice mate! Literally it's just...ahhhhh. So gud. Love it. I think I'm in love with your car...sorry :o. Make sure you keep updating what you do to it! :D
Savage. Can't see the logic in that at all, when I knocked off my old Lupo's mirror I gaffa taped it back on with black tape, was a black car, didn't even notice it :D. JDM style gone wrong if you ask me. A bad copy of the stiches/cable ties used to hold bumpers together? lol. :rasp:
Wow! That looks fappin' epic! And the spec is just awesome, that sort or power from a 1.3? Sick! My mate used to have a white GT and that was awesome, wasn't built for speed though just looks. I'm a Dub lad at heart too :). Just looks awesome, can't wait to see 2010 when that new engine goes in :D
Looks like a good little meet. Shame I had to work :( I see that white Civic by me all the time! Looks amazing, . Loving the pic of Fletcher on the phone as well :rasp:
DUB has also become the term for the american ghetto cars, like 300C's and things like that on humungous chromes and stuff. 'Twenty inches strong' and all that shizzle.
I like that a lot, the vinyl makes it look so much more meaner, and brings out the lines of the bumper a lot too. The stance looks bang on, and the Turini's top it off perfectly. Love the Twingo's to bits, this is my favourite yet though :D
In what way do MK4 Golf headlights go with the lines of a Renault 5? And the bodykit is shonking! :dead: I like the colour though, looks like the one you get on VR6 Golfs :)
That's a good plan, did the same myself actually. :rasp: Bought my Clio because insurance for my old 1 litre Lupo was £1800 3rd party only! Just cause it was modified. Drove the Clio stock for a year, now with the added NCB I've modified the Clio cause it's cheaper to insure it that way then...
Welcome. I live in Devon half the year, there seems to be resonably regualar meets for the two anyway, haven't had chance to be to one yet though. Nice little Clio you've got their :D. Enjoy the site :)
