Surely if the battery's not charging properly then its either an alternator or starter motor you need?
All that work, excluding the head gasket should cost no more than £400 - £500, id be mighty cheesed off if i had to pay £400 for that.
I wouldnt go to kwik fit unless i was desperate ive...
Yes, but apparently the the pioneer plasma's are streets ahead of any other plasma, take them out the equation and the normal punter wouldnt tell much difference between plasma or lcd.
My sister has a 43" pioneer plasma, one of the earlier ones and i bought a 40" samsung LCD last friday and...
Had mine done at lasy service 4 weeks ago, £8.50 for the cv boot and about 30 mins to fit it, i wouldnt pay more than £50, if someone is quoting £100 it had better be solid gold.
When i first set it up on friday the setting was for the RGB cable or whatever it was that came with it, ( the scart with the three pins in the back) when i connected the HDMI tonight there was no picture, even on the tv's HDMI channel, i had to then reconnect the scart while keeping the HDMi in...
Hmmm, i beg to differ, seeing as how i had to resort to posting here for advice it quite obviously didnt solve my problem.
The 2nd post in this thread did, it wasnt the first time the ps3 had been connected so it was already set-up for a connection other than HDMI which would explain why it...
Nah, mines a samsung too dave, it wouldnt let me choose HDMI as my connection unless i was on the HDMI channel, a bit hard reading the on screen instructions to set up when, im on a channel with a black screen.
Apparently if you hold down the power button for 5 seconds while first turning it...
Just got my HDMi cable, connected it to ps3 and the telly and nothing happened, everything went black, even lost the tv signal, obviously i still had the telewest scart cable in but no picture, do i need to connect any of the other cables that came with the playstation?.
I thought it would...
I'm with dave182 and would have joined in sooner but couldnt tear myself away from the ps3, just completed Call Of Duty 3 and what an experience, my 40"hd tv was delivered on the same dayand it was like christmas.
There seems to be no impartial views here, xbox owners slate the ps3 and vice...
How can this be a silly amount of money?
Sure, its expensive but in no way is it overpriced(imo) considering a blu-ray player cant be bought for less than £1000 (as far as im aware) id say that this is an exceptionally cheap blu-ray player with a helluva games console thrown in free, thats the...
Maybe a couple hundred more, £1500 - £1800 seems to be the going rate for a t- plate with 60k miles, given that yours has less you migh get a few bob more, but you limit potential buyers with the modifications, you dont get back what you pay for mods.
I bought Toyos a wee while back, cant remember if they are t1-r or t1-s, whichever is the newer tyre i got.
The person who fitted them said " i take it since you are buying these you wont be driving slow so i've increased the pressure a bit"
I dont know if its that or just the tyre but they...
Is it wrong to be more impressed with the lush green grass??
Seriously, i think the new civic is awesome, but to be fair, the negative comments are to be expected, posting pics of a CTR on here is like walking into Parkhead with a Rangers strip on.
Another bad point to being older is when, like happened last year, Girls Alound stroll into town to open the new MVC/HMV whatever it is, you run around asking you're mates if you can borrow their kids for the day but its 12.30 on a thursday and they are at school, so you go anyway and pretend...
Im moving to lancashire if it's sunny all day there.
Have a look in the back of car magazines, theres always companys advertising, go to a proffessional and ask if they have pictures of any previous work they have done.
Just stick on any alloys and get a Renault centre cap that fits then play dumb,
I wouldnt hate being young, insurance is the only disadvantage.
Wait till youre 24 like me then try to chat up some hottie in a nightclub and she looks at you like a dirty old perv.
Im dying to say to my mates...
Cheers for that, decided against cancelling as they inform me it has been shipped and i would have to pay the carriage fees to return it, no point indoing so to save a few pence.
Will keep the code for future purchases though.
There isnt much you can do, you either drive it with alloys uninsured or switch to someone who will insure you.
Or as was said, if the car was manufactured with alloys as standard fit them.
Its roughly the same price at dixons online, £779, the 42" is a plasma and i done the compare thing and the LCD is the better option only difference is dixons are selling it with a stand, makes no odds as it will be going on the wall when we get our new house, or when i get my new house as once...
