im with admiral for another 9 months and then i will prob go somewhere else
will prob sell the clio in about that anyway, put it up for sale in about 6 with 12 months mot and get something newer and change insurance comps
admiral/elephant got the business for being cheapest, thats about...
when i started my policy with admiral( same comp)
i did a quote with and without mods, with lowering, exhaust, alloys, went up £100
i think they put premium up by a percentage of what the premium already is, or maybe they just rip u off once u have apolicy with them :-(
wouldnt...
no
mine was doing 100 miles to £10, and 150 to £15, even if i was raggin the sh!t out of it
although exhaust is blowing now, and have de-cat and air filter prob needs changing so only getting about 85 to £10 at moment
need to sort it asap dont i
but when i got it, was best car...
id print that list off, send it 2 renault uk, or ring them and demand everything sorted on the phone that second
say u want full refund or a new 182 as u no longer want the current car due to soo many problems
see what theyll do first, if they refuse, then go citizins advice
right i will try to stick to under 70 then and see how things go
although temptation may get the better of me with the engine sayin faster faster faster and before i know it ill be flying on my private road doing well over 100 :-(
need to behave, 55-65 is the target :-)
ok I moved into new place on Monday,
journeys are now longer, 20 miles from the g/fs to my house, and a 13 mile trip to work each day
going to be using more petrol so I want to know what speed i should sit at
Alot of the miles is on national speed limit roads, nice and straight...
saw a nice clio in asda car park last night in colchester, bucket seats, purple, kit on it but not over the top, looked pretty tidy
indicators were flashing red every now and again, take it that was the alarm thing?
anyway where bouts in colchester ya from?? weve got a meet coming...
Chris Chris Chris
get urself on elephant and admiral, 1 of them will be slightly cheaper 4 exactly the same policy
right mate, Im 20 , 2 yrs no claims, 2 crashes in past, 1 at fault for
insured with exhaust, lowering, alloys
with admiral on a valver it would have cost me £540...
my centre section has rubbed/scraped many times, was even totally bottomed out at my local chinese due 2 huge speedbump lol, got out and had a look under and was just laughable
anyway had a gd look at the centre section the other day, all it has is a few scratch marks on it, nothing serious
yep, should be easy enough aslong as u have some knowledge and some small screwdrivers and wirecutters incase :-)
if all wires are in a block then piss easy 2 do once u have the old unit out
addicted maybe, started off not being on here 2 much, been working here 7 months now and everyday i am now on here every few mins, i think i read pretty much every thread aswell aslong as its not (18)
so far have not been caught as i work on a small department with older ppl so they dont...
word is that liv vic are lying to lots of ppl at moment, telling some ppl they dont insure moddified cars anymore, then letting others do it
seems a bit strange
i did just post a huge reply but i got service unavailable, sooooooooo f*cking anoying
anyway i almost got a 1.4 xsi which is similar performance to the rallye and also to the rsi
i think u might miss the power tbh mate, test drive it a fair bit first and see what mods you could do to...
how old are u, any crashes or points??
to be honest youd be better off going to admiral or elephant
being named driver and naming 2 older females with fullno claims as 2nd drivers
thats what i did, 20 yrs old, own policy on group 11 insurance car, £500 with admiral, thats with...
they wouldnt unless they found the car with the mods on
main thing is if there was a crash then they could try 2 say the insurance is void and then hed be f*cked
2 person asking about the exhaust, will ur insurance not let you do the exhaust mods then?
dont think its 2 healthy for the amp witht he gain all the way up, bit of a struggle
what size amp is it?? how many watts rms if u know
sounds like he may have installed a lower powered amp but ran it at full power to give enough out still
yea its strange isnt it mate
because technically with any1 u can get insured full comp on a cheap old car
then drive something newer and alot faster and still be insured
not sure how all that works really :-(
how did u find out she wasnt insured, did she simply just tell u??
i wouldnt let it rest, get some money or at least some revenge from her
smash her windows or whatever, if she doesnt insure her car she doesnt deserve 2 have it at all
terrible mate :-(
are they not even going to do her for driving with no insurance, as surely after the crash she then drove onto the roads??
or did they just let her off for everything?
if u have her address then i suggest u get revenge compo in some other way
HIC are good with mods
so are CIS
adriun flux arent 2 bad
go in the insurance forum part and check one of the top posts in there, insurance listing of loads of companies
ok what car u got?? any points? crashes in last 5 years, any no claims bonus
have u looked in the insurance sticky threads at top of forum, quite handy
who are u insured with at moment
i just renewed, am 20 with 2 yrs no claims, £515 with admiral on a 1995 rsi, group 11 insurance car
